Okami smiled at Aurora, then walked back with Orion. She whispered into his ear "What are we going to do?"

"Do?" Orion growled. "Nothing. We'll carry o like we were before they came, and they will have to follow. Akelah will find out soon enough. Maybe too soon," Orion grimaced. he looked back up to Okami. "Come, let us rest. Tomorrow may take us far from here."

Rayne looked at the darkening sky"Spirits please guide me."Suddenly she heard rustling sounds coming from behind the bushes."Who's there??" a deep male voice answered "Come daughter of water"she stared at the wolf that had emerged from behind the bushes."Are you who I think you are??"The wolf had already started to walk away,she quickly followed after him,her step so light that the leaves barely rustled.
After a few minutes they arrived at a waterfall where the Borealis seemed to be so close to the ground that they almost touched the water.The wolf walked into the waterfall."follow me"Rayne walked into the waterfall,using all her power not to be pushed down.Finally she emerged into a big cave.The wolf turned to face her."Rayne,you must bring them here on the night of the new moon when the lights touch the water"She tried to complain but the wolf shushed her"I know you don't trust each other but you will have to try.Your duty is to protect them and bring them here safely.We will give you the power to keep them safe"A necklace appeared around her neck,it's blue stone glowing."This will give you the power to control water,only when it is absolutely necessary.And don't worry about Akelah,his powers will awaken soon enough."Rayne walked towards him but he dissapeared before she reached him.She sighed"Well,thank you."She looked down at the beautiful blue stone."I guess I should go back now.She walked out of the cave and headed back to Akelah and the others.

Orion only watched the sheet of falling, icy rain, wondering hwne the she=wolf would come back inside. He glanced at Okami, and then to Akelah. But he then focused on Aroura. "You, Aroura," he said. Aroura turned around and looked at him. "What is it that you are really here for?"

"Well," she said quietly, "I was oly coming this direction with my friend, to escape the hunters. We were originally passing through here, because my pack had been killed, and we were heading this way. Then those bounty hunters, whatever they are, were chasing us, and so we ended up in here."

Orion didn't really accept Aroura's lame attempt to describe what she was doing, but he wold let it slide. Nodding his head, he looked back at the sheet of rain that fell over his cave entrance.

Rayne had finally reached the entrance her paws quiet as she entered the cave."I'm back!"She looked over at Akelah who was still fast asleep.Her eyes filled with triumph as she looked at Orion."Guess what...You're stuck with me"

Sneering slightly, in a teasing way, Orion growled, "Lucky us." But he nodded to Rayne. "What's that s'posed to mean, anyway?"

Rayne returned Orion's teasing growl."Well let's just say a certain mystical wolf visited me and basically told me I can't leave your side.OH and by the way,we're leaving this cave as soon as we can"

Orion's eyebrows raised, but he only nodded. "We leave in the morning. Get some rest," he sighed, "Tomorrow will be a long day."

((Orion is trying to heal the deep, gashing wound between himself and Rayne... but that doesn't mean it won't open again. He's touchy .))

Faye:Okami kglanced over at Orion then at Rayne.She walked up to Rayne and smiled."Do you know his name?"Okami was unsure of this spirit wolf.She sat down and watched the rain pour.

Rayne looked at Okami"You know.He never really told me.Nonetheless,he told me to keep you safe and he gave me this."She showed off her necklace"It's supposed to let me control water under extreme circumstaces.Hmmm.I feel like I can trust him though"She looked back at the rain wondering when she would see the spirit again.

Orion just closed his eyes and tried to sleep. But it was hard for him, with all these new wolves he had never before met... he wasn't used to strangers, and he still did not trust them.

Aroura made her way over to the other she-wolves. "Hi," she said quietly. She eyed the strange necklace.

Okami looked away from the rain and walked twoards Orion. She laid next to him.

Orion looked around at her as she laid down beside him. "Do you really trust them?" he asked. His expression was skeptical, but his voice mild. "What is it - do you think - that has brought us all here?"
