Marowak came up. "Are both teams ready?" he asked, Riolu and Staravia nodding. "Alright, Begin!"

Hoothoot's eyes shot open and glowed blue, using Confusion to redirect Water Gun back at Buizel.
Riolu used Aura Sphere to blast the Water Gun to protect Buizel.
Zorua used Rain Dance, causing it to begin raining.

Hoothoot managed to block two of the attacks but was hit hard with Aqua Jet. He caught himself and tried Gust.
Riolu dodged an Air Cutter from Staravia and leapt up with Force Palm, blasting her back.
Zorua dodged Quick Attack from Tailow and used Swagger to confuse it.

Buizel used Aqua Jet in the same direction the Gust was going and used Gust to power up his Aqua Jet and rammed Staravia hard.

Staravia was knocked hard to the ground. She got up and flew up, engufling herself in a fiery aura and using Brave Bird at Buizel.
Riolu jumpped in the way and used Counter, grabbing Staravia and spinning her around, throwing her hard into the ground with her own momentium, though a large explosion ensued, knocking Riolu and Staravia both out.
Marowak got the two unconsious members out of the ring so they wouldn't get hurt and healed them. "Don't worry, they'll be fine, continue.
"Buizel," said Zorua. "You know Water Pulse?"

Buizel looked over at Zorua and nodded his head. He asked "Why? What do you have in mind?"

"Combine my Shadow Ball with your Water Pulse for a combo attack," whispered Zorua, dodging a Gust from Tailow while Hoothoot launched a Shadow Ball of his own at Buizel.

Buizel dodged the Shadow Ball and said "Let's attack Hoothoot with it first." He formed Water Pulse and awaited for Zorua to fire his first.

Hoothoot's eyes went wide as the swirling ball of darkness and water struck him and blasted him out of the ring and into a wall, knocking him out.
Tailow quickly used Steel Wing at Buizel and Zorua from behind, knocking both to the ground. "We shouldn't try the same trick twice, she'll expect it," said Zorua, getting up. "Maybe try Shadow Ball mixed with Aqua Jet?"

Buizel shook his head and said while getting up "Let's do it again, Zorua. Trust me on this one. We'll get her. And remember improvise if it fails." He formed a Water Pulse and awaited Zorua to fire Shadow Ball before he releases his Water Pulse again.

Zorua waited for Tailow to come in for a Steel Wing and be too close to pull up before firing his Shadow Ball.
