Dante Snarled, And Grabbed her houlder "Listen to me sam" he growled "i want an explanation so top giving me this silent treatment"

"Sam spun around, fear flashing across her face. She felt tears spilling over her eyes and pouring down her face. She took a piece of paper out of her bag and wrote something on it. She folded it up making sure Dante couldn't see what she had wrote. She gently took the hand that was grasping her shoulder and placed the paper in it. She closed his fingers around, gave him a kiss on the cheek that was barely a whisper before turning and running away making sure he wont be able to catch her after he opened the letter. The letter hadf read Patience, my love Patience. She couldn't stand his misery and anger and she wanted to give him something, which is why she put my love and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Her heart hand poundeed at his nearness and she still tingled where he had tooched her bare skin.

Dante stared after her, Then opened the note. A udden flah of pain speared his heart, theough he refused to let it show. he just walked abck outside.

Sam went to the girls tiolet and made sure she looked fine and that the red rings around her eyes had gone before she went back into the adutitorium.

Elessa got up and completely blanked Sam when she walked past. She headed out side and found |Dante. She stodd next to him for a second before she took the note out of Dantes hand and read it herself.She felt angery flash through her. She crumpled the note and then shredded it before throwing it away into teh road. "Come on. The head masters about to anounce the winners." She took his elbow and tugged him inside.

Poisen berry walked down the street. "Its just like i remember it." she told the child next to her. "Lets go see your father shall we?" she asked, before heading in to teh forest. She could feel his presence, and after so long of not seeing him, it was a little weaker than it used to be. She walked on till she was about half a mile from where he was. She paused and told her child to stay until she returned. Then she ran through the forest and found Him, all on his own in a clearing. She stepped into the clearing and looked him up and down. "Hello Kaien." she said in how she spoke when they had known each other.

Morten kicked a stone at a wall "I didnt want to come on tis stupid trip anyway" he muttered. He diudnt seem to have a mental age of nine even if he phyiccly was. he still trhew tantrum like some sort fo five yearold.

Kaien glanced at ehr "Holly?" he said, his tone was vaguely surprised. He bruhed his hair away from his eyes, something he hadnt done in so long, but in promptly fell back into place.

dante followed her in and sat down.

"i go by Piosen Berry now." she said, switching to her normal vioce now. "I look different dont i?" she asked giving a twirl. She wore very gothic clothes and her hair was died a dark purple instead of her old ginger. She walked up to him. "You haven't changed much." she siad studing his face from 4 cm away.

Sam looked up when she heard the headmaster announcing that the winners will be awarded a trophy and will have the choice to ether do there act again or do a different act with teh other person who wins, as a prize will be awarded to one boy and one girl and that would all contestants please come up to teh wings and line up in the order the acts were in. Sam got up and went to teh front of the que, forgetting until he got there that Dante would be directly behind her.

Dante Didnt say anything but one word "Thanks" he whispered quietly.

Kaien took a step abck, he'd forgotten how much she drove him crazy when She was that cloe "ure you do" he said "what are you abck for anyway? given up surviving on your own"

The smile that had been playing on Piosens lips vanished and she glared at him. Silently she took his elbow and led him through teh forest. She brought him to Morten. "I'd like you to meet Morten." she said going to stand behind her son.

Dantes breath sent a shiver down her back and when she was waved on stage she walked on going to the end of teh stage and turning towards teh adiunce.

The headmaster began to make his speech. "As you would have all seen ladys and gentleman, we have many rtalented students with us tioday, and i must say it was rather hard chioce to find teh winners, but eventually, with alot of hard work and negotiations, we found our two winners. Now a round of applause for the acts," he said before pausing for a moment for the to clap."Right a drum roll please, our first winner is..."The drum roll started.

Dante litened with only half interest.

Morten looked up and glared at kaien. He tuck his tongue out then Went back to kicking rock at the wall.

kaien raised an eyebrow "thats it?"

"Dont talk like taht to my son." hissed Poisen. "No, better yet, dont talk like that to your son."

"Samanths Mayward!" said the headmaster, claping and ushering Samantha forward. He shook her hand and and said the her trophy is waiting for her on teh table at teh back of the auditorium and said staht she could collect it after. He waved her back into line as he began the next winner. "The next winner, and may i say that he was one of my personal favoutites out of this whole show, he put such feeling into his songs," teh drum roll started waiting for the next winner.

Sam walked as if in a trance, she looked surprised and sheepishly shook the headmasters hand.

Dante clapped When the headmater called amas name and then returned to hi only half concentrating state.

Kaien blinked, genuinly surprised now "Wait Thats MY son?!"

"I was three weeks pregnant when i left you. I had been wondering whether or not to leave you for a while, but me having a child confirmed it and i left. I wasn't going to have any child of mine be beaten half to death every day." said Piosen in a grave vioce.

"Dante Welsh!" said The headmaster into teh microphone." he ushered him forward and gave him the same speech as he had given smamntha. "Now,~" he said after ushering Dante back into the line. "Its for a short break as a two winners decide wether they do and act together or repeat the act from before. Thank you!" he said before giving a bow and walking off stage.

Sam walked off the stage and went straight to teh computer lab. She resaerched a song and printed out the lyrics and music for the guitar. Then she went back to the stage and found Dante on his own. She handed him a piece of paper. "Do you know this song?" she asked in a a vioce that gave nothong away.

Dante read the title "Yeah, i knwo the song" he said "you ure of this one?"

Kaiens expression didnt change "You deserved it" he said "And maybe if I'd had a ahdn in his parenting he wouldn't have ended up like this"

"If you had a say in his parenting he'd be deformed by now. Or dead." she said, looking Kaien straight in the eyes. "You weren't ready to be a father yet, you weren't even ready to have a wife but you had one of them any way. As much as a love for her chosen is stronge, her love for her children in ten times stronger. I wanted Mortem to see you, so he could decide whether or not he wants to see you as he is old enough to decide. I told him everything about our relationship, the good and bad of it, and i've explained why i left." said Poisen in slow careful words. "Though be warned, lay a finger on him if he does decide to see you every now and again, and i'll do everything you ever did to me ten times harder to you and add a couple of my own in to."

"Can you play it on your guitar?" sam asked ignoreing his question and adoiding his eyes.

"yeah, its a siimple one"

morten kicked one rock too hard and he bounced off the gate and went through a car window "should have bought a stronger f***ing window" he said.

Kaien frowned "wait, o you bringing up a foulmouthed kid with the brain of a five year old was better than me? please2 he sneered, trying to ugnore both hollys threat and the fact her smell was making hime attracted to her more than he'd ever been.
