"These are really big dogs.." Simon said. "And they're only mean cause they're old and grumpy..they've pulled sleds their entire lives. They kinda got the right to be grumpy.."

"Oh... well if you told me that, i wouldn't of said that... they're old, it's just how they are," she said. "I don't think you should be living there..." she said.

Simon shrugged. "That's where life brought me. From mom..to that dog she dropped me off to..to the sled team."

"Let me ask you something Simon..." she and turning around to face him and stopped. "Do you really want to be on the Sled Team?"

Simon paused and sighed, looking at her. "..It doesn't matter.."

"Simon... It's not good to be in something you're not fit for, nor you don't like your self..." she said, "I don't want to see you get hurt from a accident."

Simon shrugged and put on a smile. "Won't hurt me none. I'll get up and keep going." he said. "It hurt when Sugar and Spice died. It hrut when mom and dad started fighting...It hurt when dad left me behind with mom..and it hurt when she sent me away...But it doesn't matter."

Halina dropped her ears when she heard everything then soon hugged him, "I feel sorry for you guys..."

Simon lowered his ears. "It's okay..honest.." he sighed. "..Me and Shenan got through it...she's....a bit psyhco now..but we got through it.."

"It's not to me," she said. "Your and my family has been messed up since Volta and Cammile met each other."

"That's cause mom is so screwed up." Simon laughed. "She's a real pain in the butt."

"Ohhh... don't say that, I hear she's good at hiding and you not knowing," she said and smirked.

"Yea but she's probably halfway across Alaska and as far away from me and Shenan as possible." he noted.

"Really?" she asked, "Guess... huh... okay, now when are you going to turn psycho," she teased and nosed his cheek, "I'm playing with you," she said and walked on again towards the forest, with her 3 pups following her. "Vanessa... why don't you stay with Simon, if that's fine with him."
