Warbler smirked, rolling onto her back. She put paws on Dukes chin.
"Good."

Duke chuckled and looked down at her.

Warbler liked his chin, and giggled.
"So whatcha wanna do?" She asked.

Duke chuckled and nosed her. "Its getting dark out, can't do much at this time."

Warbler huffed, then pulling the pups overcloser to her.
"Uh, I hate the dark." she grumbled.

Duke nodded, his nose twitching as he scented the air. "Same.."

Warbler picked up the pups and carried them into the den, where she waited for Duke to follow.
"Ypu smell somethin'?" she asked.

"I think..." Duke said, already up on his feet. "Smells like the guy from earlier.."

"Go find him! " Warbler insisted, pulling the pups agains her chest and laying her head down over them.

Duke nodded and took a few steps toward the woods when the raggedy mutt stepped half into the light, lowering his head in submission.
"No need to look.." he said.

Warbler shuddered at the sight of him, cocking her head.
"What do you want?" She huffed.

"To...to bring something.." he said, looking at his paws for his package. "Where'd..it go..?" he looked behind him.

Warbler perked at the mention of a package. She loved presents.
"What is it?" she asked curiously.

"I know..i had it..." he said, sniffing at the ground. "i musta dropped it when..oh!" he perked and buried his head into the brush, pulling out a necklace of some sort. He took a few steps toward Duke and dropped it on the ground. "I was told to give these to you." Once in the light, it was easy to see it was a pair of dogtags.

Warbler frowned, cocking her head. She stood and trotted over to the mutt together a closer look at the tags.
"These...who sent you?"
