" He'll be back, I just have a feeling,." Rogue said.

" Did I miss the party?" Sasha said, walking up to where they were standing, " I heard all the noise andd came over right away. Anyone hurt?"

"Just a few nicks and scratches." Zak said casually.

Nika looked at Lucky worringly "This is Lucky, my son." She smiled a little at the words then went a little serious "Who needs to get cleaned up before someone thinks he is a street dog, and soon." She said a little jokingly. She looked back down at Rogue and smiled a little but, remembering when Lucky was that small "You will never be hurt by him again, I promise you that." She sighed "And you are not a problem, I promise, you can stay here for as long as you want." She ruffled his fur a little bit.

Zero was laying on his bed, trying to contemplate what the heck just happened. He was in a fight... He had a gun... I could have killed someone...

Mishka saw Zero go in and raced after him and quietly went into his room, her heart racing a little as she saw him on his bed. "Are you alright?" She asked sweetly as she walked to his bed side and rested her head on the bed.

"Not really..." Zero said, looking over at her.

Nika smiled as she hugged Rollie tightly. "Hey, you missed the whole fight!" She exclaimed, but she was happy he had missed it because that meant he didn't get hurt.

Mishka jumped on the bed and curled up next to him. "Your going to be okay, I know your freaked out because you handled a gun but you only did it to protect us, there is nothing wrong with that." She licked his cheek sweetly.

"I know... But I dunno how I'd feel if I killed someone. Zak doesn't seem phased, and he actually did shoot one of those thugs. He seems to be shrugging it off."

Mishka realized her attempts to make him happier weren't working. Maybe I'm making this worse, maybe he doesn't love me like I had thought he did, or he is just really upset. She jumped down from the bed and sighed "If you did Zero, you still would've been a hero." In my eyes... She left out the last part as she exited the room "I'll give you some time alone, to calm down." She explained, heading back downstairs.

"Mishka, wait..." Zero said, hopping off the bed and following her. "I'm sorry, I just feel off... Everything just happened to fast for me and my brain is trying to catch up." He said, trying to make sense.

Mishka smiled sweetly towards him, her tail wagging slowly. "Its alright Zero, I understand." She nuzzled him cutely before hearing her name being called from down stairs. "Mishka! I need your help!" Nika's voice was coming from the kitchen, lunch already? "I swear she is like a mom to all of us, no matter how young she may be." Mishka smirked at him before trotting downstairs.

Nika felt her stomach rumble so she picked up the pup and began to walk inside "C'mon guys, its almost lunch, shoot out or not we are eating as a family." She called over her shoulder. She looked at the food in the kicthen and down at the pup "What do you want for lunch?" She asked him.

Zero followed Mishka, tail wagging. He started feeling a bit better.

"You alright Luck?" Zero asked, looking concerned for Lucky.
