Carmen randomly opened up to a page in the thick book, finding a short entry. She read, "January 16th: Tin Can didn't believe me. I told him everything, starting from when I first found out myself; he didn't believe me."

Carmen flipped a few pages back and read aloud, "January 12th: Those skiffs came by again, looking for me. I don't really know what it is they want, but they're creeping the hell out of me. Their van has those same two W's on it every time. I keep asking the office managers who they, but they don't give me alot of information, just "oh, solicitors" or some s**t like that. Everyone here's a filthy liar. No wonder I stick around."
