"And this guy to." Zak added, pointing the gun he had taken possession of from the dog he shot in the stomach at it's previous, gone owner.

Nika stood next to Zero, a smug and evil smirk on her face. "Are you sure this is worth it?" She asked, a sharp snarl ripping through her throat. The Goons looked at the whole group and shivered.

The thug that Rogue had grabbed on to finally shook her off, and with one punch knocked her out. After seeing he was outnumbered, he picked her up and ran away.

Nika turned around to see the pup being taken away from one of the thugs. "No!" She screamed as she raced after the male and tackled him, she franticly bit into his neck and at his face to get him to let go of the pup.

Lucky soon killed the gang member he had been fighting, blood stained his black and white fur, most of it was his, but some of it belonged to the gang member. He snarled at the rest of the gang members. "Yeah..and this guy." He growled, baring his blood-stained teeth.

Nika giggled at the pup "I'm Nika, I'm kind like the mom of the home." She smiled at the thought and looked back down at the pup.

When the thugs were out of sight, the gun dropped from Zero's paws. He was thoroughly shaken at having to even fire the thing. He turned and went back to the apartment without a word, up to his room, slamming and locking the door behind him.

"Nah, it's not you." Zak said, winking at the pup. "Just 'cause a few thugs mess with us doesn't mean it's your fault."
