Nika heard Malone and Charlie talking and she could only hear a few words.
"Gun.....Gang....Get hurt."
She gasped and slowly opened the door, her back fur rising in anger, and came in and sat next to Charlie. "I don't trust just anyone alone with Charlie, sorry." She said sternly.

" So the broad returns, " Malone laughed, " Have a seat dame, the fun is just getting started."

Nika growled as she rolled her shoulders. "One, you come into my home and threaten my family. Two, you call me broad. Three, you called me babe. Four...You don't know when to shut you pie hole!" She opened her eyes and growled feircly. "One more strike and the pretty flea-bitten tail of yours will be on the floor instead of attached to your body you nasty mutt!" The firey female spat, her words dipped with venom.

Zero kept his paw on the trigger of his own gun at the front door, hoping Charlie could handle himself with Malone.

"Yeah I wouldn't want to see any innocent dogs getting hurt that is why I'm not taking your offer. So you and your little buddy can get lost. Ya got that?" Charlie barked noticing Zero with the gun and looking over at him nervously.

Zero had his back to Charlie so he didn't notice.

Nika growled deeply as she pushed Malone towards the door "Get out, we don't want you here, but I don't want you taking the pup either." Nika couldn't manage to picture the little pup on the streets with this thug, and she didn't want to. "You know you can't take care of a puppy, and I certaintly won't let you, I know you two aren't kin so don't pull that either." She flashed him a glare that almost challenged him to say something.

Lucky watched from the stairs and growled at Malone, baring his teeth. "You'd better do what my mom says, you big flat-faced butt sniffer." He growled.

Malone just snickered, then said " Rogue, come here," he said, " I really wish things didn't have to be this way, " he said pulling out a knife and placing it close to Rogues throat right as she came near him," I'd like to stay and chat, '' he said, edging toward the door, "But my little buddy and I have to be going."

Zero instantly turned and aimed the gun, shooting the knife in Malone's paw away. His paws shook a bit, never having had to use it before.

"Careful now, wouldn't want to hurt someone with that," Malone said, " Fine, take her." He shoved Rogue into Nika and ran out the door, breaking a small vase just for fun.

Zero breathed a sigh of relief and shut the door behind Malone.

Nika grabbed Rogue tightly, but not tight enough to hurt her. "That-That..I'm going kill him Charlie! I swear I going to kill him!" She spat as she smoothed out the pups fur, still holding her. "He will never touch you again sweety, I promise, your in safe paws now." She said as she turned the pup to look at her. "He is not going to live this town alive, no one touches a pup and enters my home and disrespetcs my whole family like that." She growled as if malone was still right there infront of her. "I can't wait when Charlie gets him, I'll teach him how a real street dog fights." She blinked and caught a breif vision of her old job and she rolled her shoulders as if pushing it back.
