"Has it brought you to tears yet Shang? It brought me to tears. I'm scared also. And look. The sky is clearing up. Maybe we can have a better chance of looking for him now." He smiled through the tears. He nuzzled Shangeti and held her close, " What about the cubs? Should we continue tomorrow? The little ones need us." He said getting up and helped Shangeti up.

"Ok. We shall." He said. He smelt the sent of Kiruku and had a trail, " Shangili! I caught the sent of Kiruku! He's this way. Follow me!" Taka said and followed the trail.

Tomy looked to her side to look at him, but no one was there "Kiruku?" She whispered, she sensed somthing wrong "Kiruku!" She yelped, she had noticed the other adults calling his name in frantic, but she hadn't thought anything of it."I have let my friend slip threw my fingers..because of my own selfish needs..." She whimpered, relizing that sh ehad seen him when the devil lion came.She sniffed fro Taka, she knew that was his father "Taka!Taka!" She yelped, in the verge of tears "Where-Where is he?" She asked, almost chokong on her very words.Was he dead or alive, was he scared in the rain..was he starving or worse...was he with the devil lion and Scar?The possibilities pushed threw like a flood.

Cody was also looking for his best pal. "Kiruku! Kiruku?!" He called, he sniffed at some tracks. "Hmm..." He said, not sure whos tracks they were, so he followed them, soon he had wandered out of the pride`s territory and was lost, it was scary and the plants and ground looked all dried up. It was then that he realised he wasn`t home anymore, he was on Scar`s lands.

Ubazai had caught the scent of a cub, she went to the source of it, she then saw Cody, "Well, well, well, lookie what we got here," she said walking up to Cody, "You are that cub that protects Vitani," Ubazai then stopped, point blank range distance, "You are coming with me," Ubazai then grabbed Cody and ran off with him.

"Vitani. We're not sure either. We're looking for him." He heard a cry for help and relized it was Cody and he told Shangeti, " Take Vitani back to the dens and return her to Jenia. I'll be back." He said and nuzzled Shangeti and ran off to where Cody was. He got there and pounced on Ubazai, " Don't lay paws on him hear me?" He snarled protecting the cub.

Taka snarled and said, " Never. Never will I give your trashy, pathetic, excuse for a father Vitani. I'll take the cub and leave. Never will anything in your father's pride, will set foot in mine. Tell him, it's not worth fiting for her." He picked Cody up and ran away as fast as he could.

Ubazai glared at him, "He is not my father," she shouted at Taka, "He is my King, my Leader, he will get what he wants," she then began walking back, she then turned her head back to Taka, "And he wants war."
JEnia looked around, "Vitani, come here please," she said motherly,
Ubazai then walked back to where Scar was, "Your majesty, they will not surrerender her," Ubazai bowed before her King, "War we shall have against them,"

Taka got back with Cody in his mouth holding him by the scruff of the neck. He set him down in his den with Jenia and the comfort of Roran, " Cody! Why did you do that? We were searching frantically for you and Kiruku. If you know where he is, tell us. We need to know." He said out of breath. The outlands were a far ways away from these lands.

Taka walked over to Shangeti and nuzzled her, It'll be ok. We'll find him. We just have to ask for help." He said and looked to the sky, "Mother, if your up there, please come down. We need you."
Tovah heard him and came down from the heavens, " What do you need my son? I see you have a mate." She smiled, " What's her name?" She smiled and asked.
"Her name is Shangeti. I fell in love the first time I layed eyes on her. We just lost our adopted cub and, well, we need help finding him." He walked over to the other two female cubs and said, " These are the cubs me and my mate had together." He smiled.
