Rochelle didn't bother moving, or coming out of hiding. Even when night fell she didn't bother to get up.

Once Reed and Shane appeared in the cave again, Shane was attacked by Kurt once more.
"WHERE IS SHE!?!?" He snarled at the younger male. Blaine stood but Kurt growled at him.
"Who?" Shane asked. Kurt seemed more infuriated at the response, but before he could snap onto Shane's neck, the twins grabbed him.
"Calm down Kurty Kat, Shane dont know! She wondered off on her own without dinner." They chorused. Shane blinked. Thunder rolled loudly in the distance.
"Rochelle...Is gone?" Shane gasped, remembering the last time he lost her. He bolted out of the cave as lighting struck a tree. Rain poured, thunder cracked, and lighting lit up the black sky.

Rochelle's head flew up at the crackle and boom of the lightning in the sky. She climbed out from her hiding place and shook her fur as the rain pelted her body. She didn't much mind it and padded out slowly, looking for somewhere with better cover from the rain.
The loud crash of lightning split the air again, but this time it hit a tree, crippling it and sending large, heavy branches down onto the ground. Rochelle gasped sharply as the heavy branches fall onto her, pinning her to the ground, unable to move.

Shane heard the gasp, and flung himself in that direction, not looking where he was going, ramming himself into a tree. He yelped loudly, and blood dripped from his cheek. He trotted in tehe same direction, and saw Rochelle, running over.
"Rochelle..." He whined, crouching down next to her. He looked sadly at the branches, and rammed himself hard into them, desperatly trying to move them.

Rochelle lay with her chin on the ground, the brunches pushing her against the forest floor. She tried to move but could only move back a bit, not enough to move free.

"Oh my gosh oh my gosh.." Shane repeated, growling as the branches wouldnt move but a few inches. He threw himself against one, and it toppled over. He repeated this until finally he could pick up the last branch and free Rochelle. Shane did so, and then sighed, tears of relief begining to come.

The moment she could Rochelle crawled out from under the branches, jumping to her feet.

Shane stared at the branches for a couple moments, then looked at Rochelle, sniffing her all over.
"Are you okaY?? No broken bones..?" He asked worriedly.

"I'm fine..i'm okay.." Rochelle said, shaking the drops of rain from her snout. "Thanks Shane.."

Shane looked down at the ground, not smiling. "Sure. Anything." He said, turning. "Common, Kurt's worried sick." He said, swallowing a growing lump in his throat.

Rochelle lowered her ears when she was he wasn't smiling. She turned and followed him quietly back to the cave.

Shane looked back at Rochelle a couple times before stopping. "Go on without me..I cant go back." He said, backing up.

Rochelle stopped and turned to look at him.
"Wh....what?..why not..?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Because...I'll come back...But i need a break...Sorry." He said, his eyes wore saddness, as he turned. "Goodbye Rochelle." He said, trotting off.

Rochelle lowered her head, her tail creeping between her legs as she watched Shane walk off. Solemnly, she crept back to the cave in silence.
