The reason for GNG's crappiness is because it was made in the 1980's, but, uh, yeah.

True.. but for some reason I think the animation is pretty good for 80's anime.. I just think so  also it's a great show!

On many levels, it's actually better than Weed's. Go to bluefang.dk, and check out the "funny" section under the Ginga Densetsu Weed galleries. Some of them are quite funny, one example being Blue's alligator-like mouth.

Alot of the funnier screenshots from Weed are stretch and squish techniques for animation, However, some of those drawings seen in that thread are just bad.
The actual drawings in GNG aren't bad or anything. But as a whole, I'm not that fond on the general animation. Particularly fight moves and things.
But still, the deliverance of GNG is the major factor

I wasn't saying that GNG was crappy and all that, I just had to find a word to sum up all of va-kasi's critiques and all. I love GNG, even though I didn't get past the first 2 episodes.

I wonder if Weed has any friends named Pot or Meth?
No, but uh, I don't remember if I asked this before...but what is the PLOT of GDW? When I watched it, I dunno if I MISSED it trying to look through all the violence and lockjaw or if I was like asleep during that part or what.

The Plot: A young Akita Inu loses his Mother from a terrible disease. Her last deathwish was for her son(Weed) to travel to Ohu,(the Dog's Paradise) find his Father and the Fighting Dogs and defeat Hougen and his huge army. They also have to defeat a huge mutated monster named Kaibutsu

EDITED: Oh. That's it? 20+ episodes for that? XD That series takes WAAAAAY too long. I mean they had JUST gotten Gin back by what the 20th episode?
