Jet opened her eyes suddenly "yes Hun?" She looked up at him to see if any thing was wrong with him. "Is something wrong?" She asked. Her red eyes were a little drowsy as she was still half asleep.

Staniel tried to push Jot back to Francine. 'Go on, back to your mum, while daddy deals with this new-comer business.' He turned to Rosie. 'Can we help you in any way?'

Jot sulkily toddled over to Francine and twined himself around her forelegs like a domesticated cat.

Rosie looked sadly, her ears pricked down. "Well would it be okay if me and my friends share your home for a while. It sounds really rude, I know. However we have been kicked out of our own pride..." She sighed looking up to Staniel and sighed. She looked to him as if she was about to cry, holding back tears.


Francine nuzzled Jot gently then looked to Staniel. "Hm,.,, Staniel would you perhaps consider this?" She asked smiling gently.

Staniel smiled broadly. 'Well, this isn't our home. But please have it for your own!' he said. 'Whoa-a, where are you going, Jot?'

For the little cub had toddled into the cave, squeaking wildly; he reached Jafiya and Jet, and began nuzzling into them.

Staniel looked apologetic. 'Erm, sorry, can't think what's got over him ... Come here, Jotty!'

Jet looked up smiling "ah he-loo youngster." She smiled looking at him, then gasped "jot?" She gasped with a small smile. "Thank you both for saving our son." She smiled nuzzling Jot gently, grinning with joy.

Francine smiled "say whaaaat? This is your son? Why... That's adorable! He knew who you was!"

Rosie nodded "okay thank you sir." She nodded then looked at Jot. "Jotty jot?" She asked squinting her eyes. "Jot!" She smiled nuzzling her nephew.

Jafiya looked at the cub, with it's dark fur and the small flick on it's head. His eyes widened and he gasped when Jet cried out: 'Jot?'

Then, smiling joyfully, he began nuzzling and licking his son.

Allin looked confused, and was going to ask what was going on when Kudan nudged him to stay quiet.

Staniel's eyes widened. 'Well, what do you know...' he said and shook his head.

Jot squirmed, burying himself in his father's mane. He yawned and went to sleep. Before long his purring could be heard.

Jet smiled In awe.

Jafiya was silent now, he looked on in admiration at his beautiful cub and nuzzled Jet.

Kudan smiled.

Jet nuzzled Jafiya back as she began to nuzzle her cub gently. "Thank you Francine and Staniel for taking care of Jot it is most appreaciated." She spoke in a brand new voice. This voice wasn't dull and cruel but it was a grateful, suprised and excited voice which was the first time in years. Her dark eyes looked brightly to everyone as she bowed.

Lily looked to Kudan smiling. "It,,, it's a miracle dear..." She gasped in happiness nuzzling him as contently as possible. As she did that she looked to Staniel and Francine. "Say Jettanna. Jaffy." She addressed. "Why don't you say Francine and jot join our pride,

Meanwhile a few miles away some lionesses were watching. Zoie frowned looking to them. "So that's where Jotty went!" She gasped suprised. "Wait till I get my hands on them! He won't last a minute in our mini pride." She added. Kelly looked to her a little more cheerful "don't worry Zoie, our time will come." She smiled gently then looked up to see Romy and Immamu.

Zoie suddenly spots Rin and grabbed her harshly to get Lens attention. Rin yelped as Zoie dug her fangs into Rin to knock her out. "Len!" Rin called, before Zoie dropped her from high ground as her followers sniggered and cackled harshly;

'Hey!' cried Romy, aghast to see what Zoie had done to little Rin. She leapt down and nuzzled the knocked-out cub, tryng to revive her. Imammu pressed himself close to Kelly and looked grimly at Zoie.

"They've took jot back. This is a good time to get revenge." Zoie explained picking up Rin and reviving her. "She'll be up in a few minutes." Zoie explained briefly then walker away sulking a bit due to not getting her way.

Kelly's ears twitched "then again." She began. "It sounds good. Holding Jafiyas pride member as a captive." She said ruffling up her chest.

Romy frowned at Zoie's retreating back, then turned back to Rin. She smiled at the cub. 'You alright?'

Rin nodded then backed away "thanks Romy but we are enemies now." She sighed her claws withdrew.

Kelly's ears pricked down. "Then go..." She said coldly then looked away. "If you don't want to be with us that is fine." She added looking to the sky suddenly. "Romy it's sunset... We must be home soon..."

'Fine.' Romy blinked at Rin. 'Take care of yourself, kid.' She nudged Kelly and Imammu in turn before stalking off after Zoie,' Wait up, Zo.'



Jot was meanwhile playing with Jet's tail. After napping, he was more than a bit hyper. ''Taniel! Fran! ' he squeaked, and went up to his foster parents with a big grin on his face. 'Where Rin an' Len?'
