I think they would be a decent couple, seeing as how they are both strong willed.
I know it was implied that Ralph and Dusty were an item in the film, but I feel that Kodi's character is more interesting and likable than Ralph's.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who believes this, and my guess is that supporters of Kodi/Dusty would rather pair the more interesting/likable characters.
Not sure how the pups would look though. Probably cute enough!

Actually, Estamos, I did leave this argument behind until I saw that NY had re-awakened it. Besides, you haven't defended your points at all. You just keep saying, "Kodi didn't have a real change of heart" and don't provide any substantial evidence to back it up. Also, your supporters (last I checked) never liked Kodi to begin with, proving my point that you couldn't convince anyone who wasn't already convinced.
As for me contradicting my counterpoints, please show me how they contradict. So far, I have pointed out that 1) Kodi's willingness to stand up to his teammates, even going so far as to all but say he would quit the team flat-out, demonstrated that his change of heart was more than just a "because Mommy told me to" response. 2) What mushers typically do with sled dogs (and that's assuming the info your side has presented is accurate, which I somewhat doubt) is not necessarily altogether relevant in this case, since these dogs fo not operate the same way real dogs do. I mean just for example, if normal breeding practices were applied to Jenna, she would have probably ended up with Steele, whom any sane person will acknowledge was an even worse mate than Kodi or Ralph could ever be. So if she got out of the usual arrangement, why couldn't Kodi and Dusty?
And thanks, Taylor. Glad to see someone's not scared off by a handful of contradictory Kodi-haters.

Just to add to the point, I don't /hate/ Kodi, so that's not what's convincing me that he's a really bad choice. I just think he's a really boring character (not to mention a poor role model). I /hate/ Aleu. The hate is there. Estamos definitely had very good points xD Especially that of Kodi being a really bad father, which I hadn't even put into play before because I don't even think Kodi would end up with /anyone/.

Truth be told DragonTamer, I had only read MAYBE the first two pages to see what the common format for the answers would be, and then I just answered the original post.
Looking back through some of the posts, I gather that Kodi was generally an unpopular character.
I thought he was a decent enough character. Started off a bit narrow minded and buckled to peer pressure, but he came around by the end!

Pretty much my view exactly. I honestly don't care for any of the characters in Balto 3, I just think Dusty in Ralph look cute together. Despite being idiotic, at least Ralph's more interesting and amusing than Kodi.

And exactly, he came around in the end. Which is just what I'm saying. catwhohas14tails wrote: Just to add to the point, I don't /hate/ Kodi, so that's not what's convincing me that he's a really bad choice. I just think he's a really boring character (not to mention a poor role model). You think Balto's a boring character too, last I checked. And semantics aside, the point is that on some level you've been antagonistic toward Kodi and most of his fans for longer than I've been on this site. catwhohas14tails wrote: Estamos definitely had very good points xD Especially that of Kodi being a really bad father, which I hadn't even put into play before because I don't even think Kodi would end up with /anyone/. On the contrary, I believe I've seen you play that card quite a few times. "He's so obsessed with his job that he'd never pay attention to his family." Which completely ignores the whole point of his role in the movie, namely learning that some things are more important than his dream career. You don't pay attention, do you? "A" being a prefix and meaning "without or against," and "muse," deriving from the Greek word denoting thought or inspiration (as in the Muses). What do you know? I guess he is more amusing.

And in English "amuse" means "to entertain or occupy in a light, playful, or pleasant manner" or "to appeal to the sense of humor of". So yes, Ralph actually is more amusing than Kodi to some people.

I think someone with drawing talent (not myself, I have none) should draw cute pictures of Dusty and Kodi's pups to take our minds from this arguing.
I say both sides have valid arguing points, but I agree with Dragon_Tamer that one of whole points of the film was change. I'm pretty sure that the whole mail team learned a valuable lesson in prioritizing work and other things accordingly after the film.
It's not conclusive, of course, but I do think that that point of view is worth considering. Whether it affects relationships or not, it should be noted regardless.
