Ryan smiled and nodded, galloping alongside her. Titanic whinnied loudly as he noticed a weird object sticking up out of the ground. Moving over to it, Ryan leaned forward to try and see what it was. An piece of an old buggie.

Blaine rode up next to Ryan. "What did you find?" She asked, looking down at the object. Raven pawed the ground, and nickered softly to Titanic. She had a little crush on him. Blaine patted her side, She had behaved very well on the ride.

Titanic nickered happily as he moved closer to investigate the odd object. Nudging it, Titanic found he could move it easily. So, he pushed against it hard enough that it pushed out of the ground. Ryan patted him and jumped off, "I think it's part of a buggie." Ryan said, looking at it. Very old model.

"Hmm," Blaine thought. "Might be my great grandfather's. He used to have a collection of them." She explained, as she grabbed a chunk of Raven's mane and braided it neatly. "Oh, oh gosh! We have weekly practice tomorrow! Morgan told me about it!" Blaine was scared. "We need to head in so we can rest a little.. We can come back and investigate this tomorrow." She said, kicking Raven's sides so she would trot over to the pasture.

Ryan nodded and kicked Titanic, "I totally forgot." He said, Titanic didn't like trotting much so he broke into a gallop. Ryan knew that there was something about trotting that Titanic didn't like so he didn't make him slow down. "Sorry for goin' fast, Titanic doesn't like trotting for some reason."

NOTE: We've all been at Blaine's house for one night, right? It's now Monday morning, right, but it's Summer...

Jacklyn awoke with a start, to the sound of a telephone ringing! Feeling unusually groggy, she flipped the pillow out from under her face; flinging it over the top of her face, she whined. Then, all of a sudden, she threw the pillow aside, struggling to hear what was being said in the room that held the hitherto ringing phone.

Through her grogginess, she heard Kathy's voice, and the words "It's no inconvenience, REALLY." So, she WAS going to be able to spend the entire day at Blaine's house!

Jumping out of the bed as best she could, she raced towards the bathroom, determined to get herself ready in record time; she was NOT going to waste one single minute of this glorious day!

As she enjoyed the warm shower water, Jacklyn ignored her injured leg, and she thought about the events of the past day. She couldn't help but wonder where Blaine was, or why so darned many people had suddenly shown up at her house!

Stepping out of the shower, Jacklyn utilized the first available towel; wrapping herself up, she allowed her red hair to drip water on her way towards Blaine's bedroom.

As she walked into the room, the 13-year-old closed the door behind her. Making certain that the curtains were drawn, she stood before Blaine's mirror, tightening the pink towel about herself.

"Hmmm," she mused, turning to the side, trying out a few mature faces in the mirror, wondering if she'd ever achieve Baine's level of self-confident, rebellious beauty.

Sighing half-self-assuredly, Jacklyn let the towel fall to the floor, taking one glimpse at her Birthday Suit in the mirror before searching for underwear...and clothes. When she found a smaller, rolled-up pair of underwear at the back of Blaine's underwear drawer, she unrolled them, suddenly contemplating weather or not her wearing them would be considered to be rude.

She finally decided that if one was going to wear somebody else's pants, they'd BETTER wear underwear, too, because THAT was just common courtesy! Sliding the underwear up over her legs, she realized that they almost fit her perfectly! Smiling, she rummaged through Blaine's pants drawer, finally deciding upon a pair of well-worn, grey sweat pants that were slightly too big for her, so that they slid sassily down around her fairly thin hips.

As she searched for a shirt, she suddenly said aloud, "WHY am I doing this?" Jacklyn Gerard was NOT the type of kid to worry about getting dirty, and she wasn't the type of girl who concerned herself with wearing fancy, or even STYLISH clothing to any place except for the local church.

Absentmindedly throwing a big, olive green tee-shirt over her head, she kept wondering why she was being a reckless house-guest. If her mother were here, she'd certainly be getting a verbal lesson that she'd never be able to forget, a lesson about "rifling around in OTHER people's HOUSES, Young Lady!" She'd be told, "Who do you think YOU are, Jacklyn, that YOU get to go through belongings that aren't even YOURS?"

Staring into the mirror suddenly, she made the most snobbish, defiant face that she could make, and she threw back her head, catching all of her red hair in one fist. Opening the top drawer of Blaine's dresser, she found a big, pink scrunchy, and she held her ponytail in place with it.

"NOW I'm ready," she declared, preparing to leave the house without breakfast!

Blaine nodded, "It's fine." She said, following them back into the barn. It was around 3:00 am, and she was ready to go inside and get ready for bed. She would sleep untill nine, since practice was at 11:30. "Well Ryan, I had fun, lets do this again some time." Blaine said, leaning on one of the stall doors. "Thanks again for then necklace." Blushing, she waved and hurried off toward the house. The moon provided some light for her, as she was able to sneak back in the house without being heard. She rushed upstairs and changed into her pajamas, and collapsed on her bed. Then she hauled a blanket and pillow downstairs, smiling like a fool.

When Blaine awoke, it was seven o'clock. She wasn't planning on getting up, but did anyways. She figured that her mom had some 5-hour energy or an energy drink some where, so Blaine would wake up a little. Kathy walked over to the stairs, and asked Blaine, "Why are you walking like a zombie hun? What time did you stay up till last night?" Quickly, She came up with an excuse. "Jacklyn, Morgan and I were sitting outside watching stars last night. There was a metor shower."
Kathy nodded, and continued getting ready for work. "Hun, Make sure that Jacklyn doesn't ride Biff today. He needs to rest. She may ride Lady or one of the drafts if she'd like." She said, digging through her drawers.

Blaine sat at the table, eating her breakfast when the phone rang. She slowly walked over and answered it. "One minute, please." She said, then covered the phone with her hand. "Mom, its for you." She yelled, handing it to her as she came into the kitchen.

Ryan smiled heavily as she left and entered the house. When he put Titanic back into the barn it was to early to really get sleep. Since he wanted to be up by six. But some sleep was better than no sleep, so he dozed off on the hay bales. Hands on his chest and pieces of stray all in his hair. Ryan didn't mind it at all.

As Kathy hung up the phone, Blaine slowly walked over to the sink and rinsed her bowl out. "Well, hun, I've got to run! Kyra called me and said theres a dog just brought in at the clinic who has a few broken bones. Poor dog got hit by a car." Kathy said, kissing Blaine's forehead and rushing out the door. "Good luck!" She yelled as the door slamed shut.

The energy drink in the fridge was calling her name. Blaine was still tired and knew it would be awhile untill the energy from the drink to kick in. She opened the refrigerator and unscrewed the top, taking small sips. Then, she walked over to the stairs and met Jacklyn at the end. "My, My! You look sassy, there! Mom must've told you to wear some of my old clothes." She said, continuing slowly up the stairs and into the bathroom. As she undressed, she looked in the mirror at the cut on her forehead for yesterday. Charlie had made the branch nearly blind her. Now it had scabbed over and looked brown. Unatractive. She thought as she slipped into the shower. The warm water washed away all the dirt. She squirted a small amount of shampoo in her hand and scrubbed her scalp. Then repeated with conditioner this time. Next, she hopped out of the shower and dried off her slim body. Her hair dripped water on the floor as she walked to her room and digging for her favorite jeans in the drawer. Blaine layed out her outfit of dark jeans and a red plaid shirt then got dressed. She looked herself over in the mirror before putting a little mascara on and rushing outside.

As Blaine entered the barn, she was surprised to see Clairecurled up next to Ryan. She rolled her eyes at her and went into Charlie's stall and got his halter since all the horses slept in the pasture. Sassily, Blaine walked out of the barn. Head held high, she opened the pasture gate. Charlie was already standing there, waiting. She led him back into the barn past Claire and Ryan. As she tied him up, Charlie backed into the hay bale and flicked his tail hitting Claire in the face as if he knew that Blaine wanted him to do so. She smiled at her horse, stroking his nose. His big brown eyes observed her cautiously as she went in the stall to get a carrot.

Ryan awoke slowly, noticing Claire on his arm. He jumped and flipped off the bail of hay by accident. Landing on his back. Slowly getting up, Ryan went to this cabin and grabbed a quick shower. Putting on fresh clothes and going back outside to Titanic. He swung onto his back and rode him out of the barn.
