Blade was hungry so he walked outside and or some chips, he sat on the fence and ate them cheerily. He saw a door open and out stepped Tabitha. tabitha. Her name reminded him of Bridge to Terrabitha, he decided he'd tell her that, one with such a magical name had to be amazing.

Blade sighed and jumped off the fence, he walked slowly and casually towards Tabitha and waved, "Greetings." he said and smiled, still walking towards her buy in earshot. He wasn't in any hurry really.

Tabitha::
Hey. She said and waved back to him. She yawned some and thought about when her boyfriend had died. He had gotten hit by a car. Tabitha looked over at the ground and then back at the ball. She put it down on the porch below her.

Blade smiled and looked at the ball, "you play?" he asked, making small talk, he was still sort of unsure on how to really talk to a girl, but figured that he could be himself and he'd be fine.

Tabitha::
No, not really. She said. She could throw any type of ball farther than most 12 year olds could. She looked over at the ground and then at Blade's jeans. She liked the color. She smiled some and yawned. Today was a boring day.

Blade nodded and smiled. "me either." he admitted carefully, he looked at the ball and smiled, he lifted his gaze, she had pretty eyes. He was at loss for words so he said that she had pretty eyes.

Tabitha::
Thanks. She said and layed her head down. Her neck was a little sore and she was bored as all get out. Tabitha could feel a breeze and she shivered a little bit. Tabitha knew the cold month of autum was coming up in the next week or two.

It was getting dark and he felt like he had made her uncomfortable, "I have to go, I'll see you again I expect." blade said and smiled, he started to walk away and he paused to wave.

Tabitha::
Bye. She said and smiled, she waved slightly and John walked outside. Holding some hot chocolate. Tabitha took the cup from his big hands and she smiled at him. She did see him as more of a father now and she wanted to be with him.

Blade made his way back into the barn and sat back on his bed, he smiled and lay back, it was nice here, he liked it, he had a feeling he would even go to school; make friends. He had never been to public school before, but then again Magic had said that she would be teaching him, so he didn't know.

Tabitha::
She looked back at the window and talked to John. Giving him advice on how to pick up girls. Wow. John looked at her and chuckled. Seriously. On your first date, look deep into her eyes and tell her how much you like her. She said and took a sip. John sighed with a smile, 'It's not that easy'. He said.

Blade smiled. He listened to music and drifted off into a restless sleep.

Magic walked out to the barn and found Blade asleep, she smiled and turned off the lights, it was dark so she walked back to the house and watched a movie.

John::
He noticed Magic and smiled slightly. Looking over at Tabitha who was smirking. John chuckled. It's not like that Tabitha. He said and grinned, leaning back on the swing. Tabitha laughed, 'Mmm hmm'. She said and grinned. John rolled his eyes and smiled.

Magic held her little dog thing in her lap and smiled. She looked out the window and stared at John's house for a minute, he seemed like a nice guy and Blade liked his daughter. She smiled and looked at the TV.
