"Oh!" she muttered, being pulled down next to him. She shook her head when he offered her a beer. "No..thanks though."

"Ahhh why not Chellie?" Shane whined, leaning into her shoulder. "Hey why're y' here anyways? Never seen you 'round b'fore!" He said, taking another long swig from his bottle.

"I don't drink," she noted. "And Blaine told me to come give you a ride home."

"Blaine did? Don't he know I can driiiiive?" SHane scoffed, tossing the empty bottle into the trash can.

"I don't think you should like this.." she said with a slight shake of her head.

"W'll why shouldn't I? When your life is crap y' need a lil' somethin' to help ya' forget!" Shane replied with a small forwn.

"But..drinking's just not the best way.." she encouraged.

Shane grunted.
"I Dunno any other way.." He mumbled, his lower lip quivering slightly.

"You could talk it out with someone who will listen.." she said. "Drinking destroys a person.."

Shane looked at his hands and then stood abruptly, causing himself to stumble and nearly fall down but he caught himself.
"L...let's go.." He slurred, his head spinning.

Rochelle nodded and was on her feet beside him, holding onto his arm to support him. "Come on.." she coaxed.

Shane walked slowly but eventually made it out to Rochelle's car and clambered into the passenger side with a sigh. His eyelids felt heavy and he couldn't focus on much, but he wasn't tired at all.

Rochelle got into the driver's seat and started the car. She took a glance at Shane before heading towards his home.

Shane turned his head to look at the blur of trees passing by and heaved a sigh. In what felt like no time, they had pulled up into his driveway and were stumbling up his steps. Shane fumbled with his keys but managed to get the door unlocked, and then took slow careful steps into his dark home.

Rochelle walked behind him, staying close so she could try to catch him if he were to lose his footing. She looked around for the light when she noticed how dark it was.
