Kisasi wrapped his body around Hatima to keep her warm. "I love you to the stars and back" He whispered in her ear before placing his head against her's and falling asleep.

Kisasi woke the next morning to the chirping of birds. He raised his head and gazed down at his mate. She was peacefully sleeping. As he looked out over the lake, he saw the sun about to rise. Should I wake Hatima up? He thought.

Kisasi stood and stretched his legs before racing after Hatima. By the time he reached the water, she was already wading in the shallows. He jumped in after her, and ran up beside her. "Surprise!" He yelled as he slapped his front paws on the water, causing a wave of water to soak Hatima.
