"Yeah. Listen, im only in town.....for, well...I guess as long as i can rent the hotel I'm at, but maybe we can hang out sometime? Like...old times?" He asked, cocking his head.

"Sure thing!" he barked happily.

"Scott! C'mere for a minute!" his father called.

"Coming! Hold on Cole." Scotty turned and went inside walking into his father's office.

"Will you go to the Anderson's house? Your mother needs you to pick up somthing." the man said not looking at up from his work.

"But Dad-"

"I know you'd rather hang out with Kate and that it's Cole's old house, but son he ran away..." Yeah sure. Scotty thought as his father continued. "And you just need to pick up somthing for your mother."

"Okay Dad, I'll go..." he sighed turning and going outside.

Cole cocked his head when Scotty returned. "What was that about?" He asked, noticing a fly in the crook of his elbow and slapped it, then wincing in sharp pain.

"Oh, I have to-" cut off when he saw Cole wince "Are you okay?"

"F-fine...Im just fine." He said, applying a little pressure through the thin cloth. He had a flashback of when he stabbed himself with a pen. he shuddered.

"O-Okay, but as I ways saying, I gotta go to your old place to pick up somthing for my Mom." he said glancing at him.

Cole looked down the street, and pin-pointed his oldhouse. "Ah...mind if i tag along?" He asked, shivering from his arm.

"Sure." Scotty said begining down the sidewalk toward the house.

Cole nodded and followed Scotty to the house, and tensed suddenly as he knocked on the door. Cole's mother answered the door. "Hello Scott! Are you here to get your mothers things?" She asked smiling. Cole stood quietly beside Scotty, trying not to be noticed. Mrs. Anderson stopped smiling though, and her eyes trained on Cole's. "Cole." She stated firmly.

"Yeah Mrs. Anderson, my Dad sent me down here." He replied fixing his sleeve which was begining to unfold. When she spoke to Cole, Scotty couldn't help but glance at his friend.

"I just- I'll....Im going to go get that." She mumbled, stumbling backwards onto the floor. Cole immediantly ran to her side, and they stared at each other for a few moments before his mother whispered. "Say it. Please Cole. You are just like your father...tell me you love me." Cole immediantly dropped her, scowling, and walked back to the door.

Oh Cole! Scotty thought with frustration "Mrs. Anderson are you okay?" he asked hurrying over to her.

"Im fine." She said, standing up and walking into the kitchen to receive the package. "Here. And Cole, dont deny it." She growled, making Cole tense up. They shut they door and he almost whipped out his knife and stabbed himself then and there.
"How could she say that!?!" He barked angrily, as they went back to Scotty's house.

"I don't know Cole." Scotty sighed walking alongside him.

He shook with fury, and pulled out a long, slender dagger, and flung it at a tree, pinning a four leaf clover that happened to be floating by to the tree.
