Dean sighed slightly at the fact he had to go see a doctor. He knew Lexie was right. He puffed out another breath before hearing Alice's joke. He managed a chuckle and winced at the bandages being wrapped around him once more. "I guess you're right.... but what would I tell them? Oh we were taken by scientists who wanted to experiment on us cause we're half canine and they cut open my chest for scientific data," he said sarcastically. "Which would believe some stupid story we could come up with? A doctor or a vet?" Dean thought about it.

Allison could hear what everyone was saying how Alice was making jokes, and Dean was talking about doctors. She wanted to let them know she was okay but she couldn't talk or move. She hoped they would leave her she didn't deserve them. She coughed, and opened her eyes, even she was surprised she could do this. She rolled out of Danes arms and laid on the ground and then stood up. She looked around at everyone not knowing what to say.

Alice perked up as a thought praticly slapped her. "Well what if I leave you on the vet's porch, and the rest of us, in a cage? He'll have to take us, and then we came bust out." She smiled as if she had just come up with the last number of pi. "Dr. Smithers helps any animals, he use to help me when I was a loner for a bit, he'll recognize me." She remembered, she hoped the sweet man would, she had missed him so.

"I'm not big on the cage part," Lexie said hastily, a shudder coursing down her spine. Cages only brought back memories -some very recent- of the scientists...one of the reasons she hated going to PetsMart. The cats went crazy around her anyways...not to mention the dogs...

"But I think Doctor, uhhh, Smithers, would be alot better than a hospital. Ecspecially since you know we can trust him," she added.

Alice shurgged, she had been locked in cages many times, for punishment mostly, when she was much younger and she honestly didn't want to relive the fear either. "Well, how about I just scratch at the door and whimper, he'll see that my friends and I are greatly hurt and fix us up, and he won't keep us either." Her ears went side ways "He never has." Secretly she almost wanted to live with him, as a pet or a daughter. Mr. Smithers was nice, and not to old, and cared about her dearly. But the thought was washed away as she realised she would have to leave her family for him, which she could never do.

Dean nodded. "That seems like a good idea." He grunted slightly as they finished putting the new layer of gauze around his stomach. "Oh, god..." He murmured as he looked at all his wounds more closely. He then saw Allison fall to the ground. "Allison! Are you alright?" He asked as he tried his best to bend over and turn her foward. "Are you awake?" he asked unsure.

Allison looked at Dean she shook her head yes scared of her own voice. She didn't know what to do, all she really could do was sit there if she moved she would just fall so for the moment she was still nothing like always.

Alice nudged her up and took a turn into a alley way where dark green door was. "Here it is, Dr. Smithers." She clawed at the door two times, then a third. She had always done it that way so he knew it was her, when he came out she practicy jumped on him, licking his face once even. But her face contorted as the pain struck her and she fell to the ground, whimpering. She had to act as dog like as possibale. The female looked out of the door at her friends then back at him.

"My oh my girl, it looks like you guys have had alot of problems..haven't ya'?" He scruffed up her ears and motioned for the dogs to come inside. "I'll help you out the best I can." Before he retreated in the back room to ge supplies he hugged Alice tightly "I missed you girl." The female's heart clenched, because she too missed him, but she knew she would have to keep silent.

Lexie had morphed before following Alice, and cautiously padded up to her and who she assumed to be Dr. Smithers. She could feel Cara's breaths against the back of her legs, each warm puff noticeable through the brisk air. Though her brown eyes remained guarded, she walked inside easily, seeing his reaction to Alice.

Cara, rather than slowly padding in, bounded in, her ears perked as she gazed around the house.

Dean looked around a bit worriedly then decided to pick up Allison once more. It looked like he had to, seeing as the others were leading the way. He wouldn't just let her die here. He picked her up and morphed into his dog form. He growled in pain as the blood started seeping through the bandages. "Gah!" he yelped as he tripped onto the doorway of Dr. Smither's office... or house was it? He wasn't sure, but being a canine was the worst thing possible for him now. If the vet guy didn't fix him soon, he'd be done for in no time flat.

Dean whimpered at the door as Allison dropped a bit further in front of him. "Sorry Allison..." he managed.

Dane nodded and morphed into his dog formation and smiled at Alice and Dr. Smither, she seemed so happy, and he seemed trust worthy. He put his head down and began walking into the room. looking all around, not missing any detail. He turned around and smiled at Alice, he nudged his head for her to come, he wanted her to take him around, show him a little, or maybe just introduce him.

Alice didn't see Allison or Dean, she was so excited, and happy. Dane motioned for her to come with him so she did, a large smile across her face. "This is the only man that I can really trust, he has aged, but he is still Dr. Patrick Smithers." She confirmed, mostly to herself. Alice climbed under his desk where a large dark green dog bed was "I use to sleep here when I was young and the pack kicked me out, and before I found the pack." She sniffed the bed, no other creatures have slept here, it still had the scent of her puppy breath lingering on it.

Alice nuzzled Dane lovingly before hearing Dr. Smithers come back in, supplies falling out of his hands. She quickley grabbed the ones she could hold and he thanked her and put the pile on his desk. "Come here boy, you're the worst." He called for Dean warmly as he felt Alice crawl into her bed with the male again. "Then you." He said towards Allison, winking a little. He picked up Dean and laid him on the table and began going to work. He fed him pain pills wrapped in cheese, then stitches, and cleaned the wounds, normal stuff. All the while he was soothingly talking to Dean, saying things like "I'm sorry this happened." and "It'll be okay boy." As he looked over the wounds he noticed something strange, weird cuts that could only had been made by a scalpal.

Dean shivered a bit when the doctor began going to work. He took the pain pills without hesitation, trusting this human basically with his life. Although he couldn't feel what the guy was doing, his eyes followed his every move. When he came to Dean's ripped open chest, Dean shot the others a bit of a terrified look. It basically said Oh god you guys... let's hope he doesn't ask any questions... The border collie were was surprised he didn't question the bandages around Dean's chest. After all, if you thought about it, how would a dog get that around himself?

Dr. Smithers had always knew something was different with Alice, but now he was sure that there wasn't something right. "How, and who did this, I can tell by the angle they weren't put on right," He squinted his eyes "As if they were put on a huma-" Alice squinted her eyes as the words hit her. "Dean, I have to tell him, before.." She didn't know what to say, but she knew she had to confess. Dr. Smithers looked down at Alice, seeing her looking at Dean, as if they were talking to eachother. "Whats..going on?" He whispered, his mind running with only two thoughts. I'm crazy, or they aren't really wolves.
