Wuffrith smiled and said "Yep. Everything seems perfect right now and if it continues then we'll be the happiest mated pair in the history of mated pairs, Rusty." She looked into Rusty's eyes and said while blushing "Wow. You are very handsome, Rusty. I hope you know that."

Rusty chuckled, "Only if I could say the same for you." He said sarcastically with a some laughter at the end of the statement.

Wuffrith licked his muzzle and said "I love you, Rusty."

"I love you too" Rusty took a deep breath in. "I thought we would've been there by now at least. I didn't realize we came this far." Rusty said starting to wonder if they made a wrong turn or something somewhere along the way.

Wuffrith nodded her head and said "This is the pack's land but something smells funny about this place. Can you smell what I smell?" She took a sniff and said "Something is terribly wrong. The pack is in danger from something."

OOC: She smells humans along with the pack's own smell but she doesn't recognize the human scent. Could we have this? They have to go find the pack and kill the humans who are hunting the pack down. I think this would be cool.

Rusty put his nose up into the air and began sniffing around. "To tell ya the truth I smell something. It's probably nothing much. I mean what can be wrong? Maybe it's just our minds playing tricks on us." Rusty said recognizing an odd smell but brushing it off as nothing much.

Ooc: Yeah sure sounds good to me.

Wuffrith shook her head and said "The pack would have come and escorted us to my parents for judgment if the pack was here on THEIR land. The smell could be a threat that could be putting the pack in danger, Rusty, and it most likely is because the pack's not here. We need to save our pack, Rusty. We just have to." She heard a click and before a human's gun shot off a bullet, Wuffrith pushed Rusty to the ground violently with her alongside him. She asked real quickly "Do you see anything? I heard something and something's telling me it's not friendly whatever it is."

"Whatever that was it doesn't sound like a good thing. I mean I've never heard a sound that loud." He looked around him trying to see if he could possibly spot something. He saw a silohuette run through the trees. "Shhhh stay down and keep quiet I see some sort of thing in the tree line." He said with some fear in his voice.

Wuffrith said quietly "Okay, Rusty." She edged off of him but stayed down on the ground shrouded in tall grass. She said quietly "Okay. I have a plan. I'm going to distract it and you take it out, Rusty. That's the only way to do it. One of us has to be a target for the creature to go down. Are you ready?"

Rusty sighed, not wanting to put her in danger. "Yes" he said hesitantly. "If he tries to kill you, I'll... I'll... I'll... I'll sacrafice my own life, kay?" He said now worried that she is putting herself in too much danger especially with the possibilty of her having pups beginning to grow inside of her.

Wuffrith shook her head and said "It WILL try to kill me, Rusty. That's the point. If we are to survive we must do my plan down to the letter. I will be it's target and YOU MUST TAKE IT OUT. KILL IT. YOU are the only one who CAN. You are stronger than anyone in our pack but I'm the fastest one in our pack. So, if we do what I said then we'll be okay. We both will be. Are you ready?"

"I say I be the target. You are putting your life on the line. I mean you might have pups and you'll be putting their lives on the line. If there is going to be a pawn it will be me. If he kills me. I'm the only one thats gone. If he kills you, there will be more than just you gone. There will be a bunch of little pups that would've never gotten the chance to thrive on this planet. If somebody is going to put their life on the line it's going to be me, not you." Rusty said not wanting to put Wulffirth in the most danger.

Wuffrith shook her head and said "I will be the target and that's final. Trust me, Rusty. I won't get hurt if you do what you need to." She darted out of the grass quickly, making a target for the hunter. The hunter fell for it and started shooting at Wuffrith and missed her by inches every time.

Rusty tried to grab her and hold her back but it was too late. He then darted out from behind the bushed jumping onto the hunter before he was able to get another shot off. He bit down deep into his neck refusing to let go. The hunter eventually colasped to the ground in a big heap.

Wuffrith walked over to Rusty and said "I'm sorry, Rusty. I had to. If you need to yell and growl at me then so be it. I will accept anything just to know that you are safe."
