Jenna nuzzled up next to him.
Dixie licked his nose before falling asleep.
Dana smiled and ran home, if she was home after dark her owner hit her. "Goodbye Katlag...I love you!" She yelped at the end.

Jenna fell asleep.
Dixie dosed peacefully.
Dana walked up to the house door. She scratched to let them know to let her in. Emmet the father of the house opened the door. "YOU STUPID MUTT! IT'S HALF PAST 12:30!" he yelled drunkenly. Dana cowered away from his voice. He swung a foot at her and kicked her square in the jaw. She yelped jumping away in pain. "I'LL TEACH YOU TOO..." he trailed off kicking her again in the side. She heard a crack of ribs breaking and howled in pain. He swayed drunk and took another swig of beer he had in his hand. Then Emily, Dana's owner, a ten year old girl ran out.
"DADDY NO!" She screamed shielding Dana from his next kick. He picked his daughter up by the shirt and dragged her inside.
"LEAVE THAT GOOD FOR NOTHIN' DOG OUT THERE TO FREEZE!" Emmet yelled. Emily screamed, clawed, kicked and fought to get out of her fathers grip. The door slammed shut and Dana lay whimpering in pain in the snow.

"Nothing, just had a bad dream." Star said.
Katlag barked at the vet's door.

Jenna nodded sleepily and fell asleep again quickly.
Dixie nuzzled up next to him.
Dana still was unconsious.
The vet opened the door to the scratches. "Wha?...Kaltag? What happened boy?" The vet said grabbing the wounded dog. He checked her over and within an hour he came out to Kaltag again. "She has three broken ribs, and a sore jaw...that and countless other bruises and old broken bones that healed themselves. Where did you find her boy? In the middle of the road? She looks like she got hit by a car." The vet said urgently.

Katlag pointed to her house. *Since their house's are not that far from the vet.*

Vet angered now walked up to the house and knocked on the door.
Emmet opened the door, he looked drunkenly at the vet. The vet brought his fist up and punched Emmet square in the jaw. Emmet slumped over unconscious.
