"I wan't to play too!" Maddy cried, dashing away from Kanna, who had come close to her.

"Alright, then!" Exclaimed Kanna, racing towards Maddy. Misaki took the opportunity to catch her breath.

Maddy grinned happily, running again.

Kanna sprinted after her, reaching out. "Nya, nya, can't catch me!" Misaki taunted. Kanna swiftly changed targets, bolting after her sister.

Maddy laughed, running towards them both, not wanting to be left out.

Suddenly switching again, Kanna lunged towards Maddy. She got something...!

Maddy felt a hand brush her arm, and whirled around. "You got me!" she cried, and ran after Misaki.

Misaki squealed in delight and ran from Maddy, ducking behind the beaten couch. "Now, now," Interrupted Setsuko. "That's enough roughhousing!"

"Aw!" Maddy said, but stopped. She looked at her mother with pleading eyes. "Setsuko's right," Rue said finally.

"Well, then what can we do?" Misaki whined. "How about...eat?" Said Setsuko, turning to face the door as Kuilak and Sumi stepped in. Jaci was quick to follow, and Setsuko was sure that Tariq and Tess weren't too far behind.

Tariq walked in, holding a dripping Tess in his arms. Tess grinned at them, and Tariq put her down. "Why are you wet?" Maddy asked, stopping. "I fell in the lake," she said, her grin stretching from ear to ear. "I want to go swimming Mom!" Maddy said, whirling to face Rue. "Please? Pretty please?" she begged. "I don't know..." Rue said slowly.

Setsuko twitched slightly. The lake was very close to the Caverns of Life, the unusual cave in which Ayumu, the dream spirit, stored dreams. "Maybe another time," She said, eying Rue and hoping she caught on.

Rue nodded, getting it. "Not right now, Maddy," she said firmly, and Maddy hung her head, disappointed.

"We got a squirrel, and a bird," reported Kuilak, holding up the prey. "It's not much, though," Sumi put in. "It's all we could find...we just ended up hoping that the others caught more fish than we did prey."

Tariq held up a string of around five fish, then lowered it as the still wet bodies dripped onto the wood floor. Rue smiled at him. "Who want's to help me start a fire?" Rue asked. "I do!" Maddy cried, echoed by Tess.
