"You didn't hear the horn for dinner did you?" Nico asked, still staring at the ceiling.

Shay was beginning to answer with a no, but the conch horn sounded then, it's sound echoing through the air. "Uh, yeah," she replied instead. "Just now, actually."

"Good." He said jumping down from the top bunk "I'm starving."

(Sorry I was gone for awhile.)

While Shay didn't like Nico all that much, she had to agree. She was starving as well. She followed Nico out the cabin door.

"H-hey wait up!" He called as he ran out the door to catch up with them.

Shay paused to wait for her friend. "Slowpoke," she teased, nudging him lightly with her elbow.

He snorted, "At least I'm not scared of Lava." Benny replied.

When they got to the dining pavilion, they sat at the Hades Cabin's table. The nymphs came and served them specially prepared Rib roast. Nico was getting up from the table and picking up his plate too. Benny followed his example, as soon as he caught up with Nico in the line he asked "So...'Brother'...Why are we scraping our food into a fire?" He asked quietly,"A sacrifice to the gods, they like the smell." Nico said with a gleam in his eye, like he was the smartest person around. "Oooh." Benny said nodding, but he didn't understand how they could live off smoke. so when he got to the fire, he scraped half of his meal into the fire, before he left to took a quick wiff of the smoke, expecting it to smell like what smoke always smelt like, it smelt like flowers and candy...and a bunch of other stuff that wasn't supposed to smell good together.

Overhearing the conversation - they were next to her, after all - Shay scraped off a piece of thin roast beef into the fire. Why did they like the smell? Smoke always made her cough and choke. As the flames consumed the meat, a pleasant small was released, however. Weird... she thought. But no less weird than being a demigod, she supposed.

Benny sat back down, and looked at a table were there was only one person, he had Black hair, but he couldn't really tell his features because he was sitting with his back to him. "Who's that?" Benny asked pointing at the guy. Without looking up he replied "Percy Jackson."

(Just felt like I had to mention Percy. )

Ooc:// Gah, I forgot about Percy. o.0 What happened to him in the Lost Hero made me feel bad for him and Annabeth...why did it have to be Percy?!

"Percy Jackson" wasn't a satisfactory response. It was a name, sure, but it was only that. A name. Who was Percy? What had he done? "So, who is Percy, exactly?" Shay asked, after swallowing a piece of meat.

Occ:// I know, Percy's awesome.

Nico sighed, "Well, Percy Jackson is the only camper in the Posiden Cabin.". Benny rolled his eyes at Nico as if to say Yeah, that great information.

"And?" Shay prompted, wanting him to go on.

"And, he was a big help in the Titan War a couple of summers ago, So he was granted a wish, he said that the gods should claim their children. So you should thank him, or else Hades probably wouldn't have claimed you." Nico explained.

"The Titan War?" Shay asked, curious. It sounded like a big deal, of course, but she had no idea what had happened. She had just been introduced to Camp Half-Blood today, after all.

"A big war between the Titans led by Kronos, and the kids at Camp Half Blood led by Percy. Kronos was trying to take over the world, and stuff, he got his dad to stop fighting a Titan sea god, and help chain Typhon in the East River. Then the gods helped defeat the Titans, Percy was granted a wish, the end." He said. "Intense." Benny muttered.
