Cobalt retorted and said angrily "Yes, I know it's not right but I can't help but growl at you because you slapped me. No one slaps me anymore. It makes me remember my father and his judgment. That is why I don't let anyone slap me anymore. It makes me remember my father and he would judge me badly for what I have done and where I am. He was a great wolf and I will never rise up to his status. I am always looked down upon because of who my father was. Everyone liked my father and everyone thinks I am a spoiled wolf who will never amount to anything. How would you like to have that, Crystal?" He looked very hurt and said "Now please......please, stop it." His voice became weaker with every word he spoke.

Cobalt smiled and said "He actually hasn't ever judged me harshly. It's just in my head. He is a great wolf and I always felt like a disappointment to him because other wolves in his pack always judged me harshly and I couldn't tell him that because I didn't want any wolf to be kicked out of my father's pack. Anyways, has your mother ever talked about my father to you? I'm just wondering."
