"Excellent." stated Archie as he tugged the lead rope on Crusade. He had a plan. Archibauld was thinking in his mind, I'll tie Ryan to a log, then drop it in the lake. And of course Rayna will come to his rescue, and that's where I'll catch her. And Ryan can Rest In Peace at the bottom of the lake!

He brought Ryan over to the backyard of the castle and took him off the horse. He took the rope off of Crusade and kicked the horse in the hindquarters, making him gallop away into the forest. Archie used the rope to tie Ryan to the tree behind him. "Now hold still, my dear boy, your princess will come to your rescue." he sneered. "And that's when she will be mine!" he followed with an evil cackle, and tightened the ropes holding Ryan.

Every part of Ryan wanted to kick this idiot that was tightening his bonds, do he obliged, his legs the only things unbound. He kicked as hard as possible, a crack sounding through the air as probably some of his toes broke, And hopefully Archie's shin. Ryan managed a bittersweeet grin, shuffling away from the occupied Archie, unable to move faster with his sore and broken foot.

Archie suddenly felt a pound of something crash into the calf of his leg, bruising it badly but not quite breaking it. He growled in pin and spotted Ryan throwing off the ropes and attempting to escape. "Oh no you don't!" archie screamed after him as he twisted the rope into a lasso and throwing it around Ryan's neck, then tightening it. He jerked the rope back and dragged Ryan by the throat. Then, Archie angrily whispered in his ear, "You move one more muscle, I'll take your head right off." Next, a light bulb went off in his head so he added, "Then, Rayna's."

Ryan went limp. He would willingly do whatever this idiot said if it would mean Rayna living. He glared at Archie however, his hazel eyes bruning with undisguised rage, barely managing to stay silent.

"Good boy." said Archie as he picked Ryan up by the arms and dragged him back over. This time, he tied every one of his limbs to the tree. "Your precious princess never loved you anyway." he spat. "She was only using you to get back at her father! She was angry with him, so little Rayna decided to rebel. And so she went to you. How sad."

Ryan saw the contempt and mockery in Archie's eyes. It couldn't of been true, could it? He wasn't sure now, maybe all that he knew about Rayna was wrong, and he was right. He mentally smacked himself. Not true, he's lying.

"Anything to add, Ryan?" Archie mocked. "Anything like, 'No, Rayna loves me!' or perhaps, 'You're lying! She is in love with me!'" He made Ryan's voice sound obnoxious and squeaky. "She may not even come to your rescue, because she's such a coward."

Ryan wished her hands were untied, so he could wipe the smirk off his face. "Rayna isn't the coward Archie," he said, adding mockery to the name. "You are." He knew it was stupid to talk back to a lunatic who was probably about to kill him, but he couldn' seem to control the words of contempt that spilled out of his mouth.

Archie stopped tying Ryan's hands to stare into space. Then, his face turned hard and growling as he pulled the ropes so tight they cut into the boy's skin.

Ryan bit the inside of his cheek as a few drops of blood oozed out from under the tight rope, showing no sign of the burning pain that dug into his wrists.

Archie tied the ropes like that, super tight so his wrists would keep burning. He stood up and clapped his hands together to hint that his work was done. "Have fun, Ryan." said Archie as he saluted him, the grabbed a saw and cut down the tree, Ryan still tied to it. He was now tied to a log. "Hope you're good at holding your breath!" laughed Archie as he motioned for King Bob to come over.

King Bob strode over, staring at Ryan like he would stare at something stuck to his shoe.

Ryan pulled at his wrists but stopped as the furrowed deeper into his flesh. His eyes widened slightly as he realized the implacations to the statement. Archie was going to drown him, and the king was going to stand by and watch.

Archie grinned an evil one as he leaned down to pick up the log; with Ryan tied to it. "Now you get yours, kidnapper." he said loudly so the King could hear.

Rayna bounded through the forest, praying that Ryan was still alright. Please, let me be fast enough...

Even if Ryan could think of something to say, he wouldn't of been able too. He was imagining how drowning would feel, not even able to try and swim to the surface, all because of one lunatic.

"Let's get this over with, I don't want him alive any longer than needed," King Bob said, staring at him coldly.
