Skye felt dread sink through her. "I-I'll do it," she said, her voice uncertain and tentative, her eyes showing those same emotions.

That was a short post, but I don't have that much more to post right then.

‘Did he just call me ‘Con’?’ Connor wondered. He barely let Mort get away with that. But he just rolled his eyes at them. He didn‘t do ‘Truth or Dare‘ not when he was young and certainly not now. He stabbed a straw through the water bottle opening and continued sipping while watching. It wasn‘t that he was afraid to take dares, or that he thought playing their lame games was beneath him, he just didn’t find any amusement in it. “No thanks.” He muttered turning away from them.

Mort however jumped at the chance! Anything to be included, and he didn‘t mind doing a few dares, or even truths. But he felt more like a dare today! “Sure! I‘ll play!” He glanced at Connor. There was no point in trying to talk him into it. Once his mind‘s made up, there was nothing the small boy could do. And it‘s best to leave Connor content… but it‘d still be nice if he accepted. He didn‘t think he‘d feel safe without Connor there if he were dared to go into that creepy place too.

Zac rolled his eyes at Conner. "Who doesn't like truth or dare?" he asked himself. As he heard Mort accept he turned towards him. "Come on over here then!" he called to him. The group of kids laughed and said, "Alright, after school. And we'll know if you went or not!" they told Skye. They spun the bottle again and this time it landed in front of Zac. They all grinned. Zac being over - confident usually accepted any dare possible. So they always had to be imaginative when daring him. They huddled together and decided to give him the same dare. "It's good enough," one of them whispered. They all turned to him. "We dare you to go to the creepy abandoned mansion to! Except you have to stay from the end of school until morning!" they laughed. Zac thought about it for a second. "I'll do it!" he said boldy then laughed.

Mort looked to Izzy then the others. He hoped one of them would join in too…
“Al‘right.” He replied getting closer so the bottle could point to him. Now Zac was dared to go into the house. He started to wonder if it was a good idea agreeing to the game. Especially when it was being so predictable as to say he‘d get the same thing. He swallowed and glanced back at Connor. When he didn‘t move, he forced a smile and waited his turn.

The bottle spinned once more. It landed on another person from the group. They dared the person to eat ketchup and mash potatoes and watched as the person who got dared, ate it. They then laughed and spinned it again. Zac tensed, he couldn't wait to fufill his dare. The bottle spun to Mort. "Truth or dare?" the group asked.

Mort took a breath, and on exhale said, “Dare!” He almost flinched and closed an eye, whilst awaiting his fate… ‘I just know it‘s going to be the haunted house‘ he thought nearly fearfully.

Connor glanced over at the noise. It was apparently Mort‘s turn. He contemplated options for a moment, for he couldn‘t help the feeling of concern for him. Mort WAS like a brother to him… and though he didn‘t quite remember what that felt like, he wanted to be better than his own was. He listened carefully for the dare…

ooc: I know it's up to wlflover, but just making a suggestion. After this post we should probably wait for Faye and northern so their characters can join the dare. And so Faye can convince Conner and all that ;D

bic: Zac layed his eyes on Mort as he decided dare. Once again, the group huddled together to make a dare. When they finished, they grinned. "Same dare as Skye! And incase you don't know what that dare is, you have you stay at the mansion after school for hours!" they said. They knew the dares were getting predictable, but the mansion was a good dare. After all, it had been abandoned for years. And who knew what kind of stuff would be lerking there?

"Are you gonna accept the challenge Morty?" Skye asked, wanting to be a part of the group. She nudged Connor playfully, glad that Brooklyn wasn't talking to him right now. "COme on Connor, do it," she said, referring to the game in general.

Isabella stayed huddled behind Mort as he called out dare. She wondered for a second if he was insane or still on a cutesy high from her cheeky kiss. When they told him it would be a stay at the mansion she began to grow a bit worried. Looking back to Brooklyn and Conner before blinking to Mort. "ngh.. are you.. sure?" She said before hearing Skye call Mort by his nickname.

It took a lot for her not to stare that girl square in the eye, wondering who she thought she was, calling him that and not even knowing him. But smartly she ignored it, pushing the rim of her glasses up on her nose before coughing softly. Issy wasn't hesitant but she looked to the group with radiating and eager eyes. Feeling her nerves on high made it hard for her to not shout out a tempting few words to them and only waited anxiously.

The sound of the kids chattering slowly fell out from her ears before they called out 'Truth or Dare'. Flicking a few strands of her bangs from her eyes she narrowed those pretty jeweled jade optics as a smirk curled the corners of her smooth lips upwards, her dimples creasing on her thick cheeks. It didn't take long for Mort to rush into the idea, his nature of being in the middle of things seemed to flow over brightly. This fact made her chuckle, then Issa followed obediently.

When they called over to Conner and herself she glanced back to him. It was expected of him to decline the offer and sip his drank in distressed peace. The more he denied it the simpler a plan stormed up in her brain, she was known for getting people to do things, no matter how difficult their disposition. Leaning over she glanced to him before speaking in a smooth 'alley-cat' smart like voice. "Lets agree to it, take it as a chance to ditch this place and go some where better..?" The sheer seriousness seemed to emanate deeply from her brightly colored eyes as they made contact with Conner's own green hues.

Skye sighed inaudibly as Brooklyn started talking to him again. She felt her face flush again, it had happened alot in the past few moments. She moved back to her original table, joining back into the group, merging into the crowd. Brooklyn would win him over anyway, there was no point. She managed to get to the front of the crowd at her table, sitting down in a vacant seat. Most of them were standing anyway. She couldn't help looking back at Brooklyn, who was staring at him intensely, and Connor.

Mort tried to resist gulping as his common sense started to return. He knew it… now what was he to do? ‘What was I thinking?’ He thought, ’I guess I was to optimistic that my dare might be different…’ Though granted he didn‘t want to go through with it, for who knows what lurks in that death trap, but the didn‘t want to seem cowardly either. “Sure. N-no problem…” he turned to Izzy. He hoped she wouldn‘t accept. Though granted he didn‘t want to go in alone, the thought of something happening to her would eat him alive. It’d been quite a day so far. He could hardly think about what was going to happen next…

Connor sighed into his straw. He didn‘t believe in lame superstitions, but Mort sure did. What if he panicked and did something stupid? He almost felt obligated to take the dare as well. But he wasn‘t Mort‘s keeper, the kid could take care of himself. It wasn‘t until Brooklyn started to try and coax him into taking the dare, that he almost completely considered it.

He sighed again and ran his free hand through his hair and along the back of his neck. Pausing momentarily to think. “Hmm…” He glanced at Mort, who caught his eyes and stared back. It didn‘t take a mentalist to see his brown eyes were pleading with him to join. “Pfff…” he exhaled and said, “Al‘right.”

Zac grinned as Mort accepted. "Geez that makes three of us!" he said, referring to himself, Skye, and Mort. He then turned to the group. "You guys are so predictable," he said to them. They shrugged and the laughed. They spun the bottle again and it went towards someone else. "Truth or dare?" they asked the girl. "Truth," she replied. The group looked at each other and decided which question to ask. "Is it true you like Rick?" they asked her. "No," she said. They spun the bottle once more and it landed right in front of Izzy. Zac looked up to see if she would accept. "Truth or dare?" the group asked.
