OOC: So are they Earth pack at thier den, or the other packs? Thanks for all the Earth pack members, too.

Adolph shivered a bit, and started back to the den, but he heard a small branch break, and a man move around. He snapped around, and the hunter shot at him, and Adolph tried to duck, but the bullet sank into his shoulder. The hunter had come back to check on the others, and saw Adolph with the carcasses. He did what a hunter would do. Shoot the wolf.

As the bullet's echo rang out into the air, Rackshaw woke up immediately, attentive and alert. It was only instinct that he would run out and investigate the noise. That was when he saw Adolph. "Adolph!" Rackshaw barked with his deep voice. Then, what he laid eyes on was even more horrible.

The hunter.

"I had to make sure- that the pack's borders were safe. I had to be loyal..." he coughed a bit.
Back at the den, Joy heard a gunshot, "Adolph!" she said, and jumped up, and ran out of the cave. She ran, following his scent.
Then, she found him, bleeding on the ground. She ran over to him, "Are you ok?!"
"Yeah-" -he coughed- "I'm ok." he tried to stand up.
Jason trotted towards their direction, from the den, slowly. He knew Adolph would either be dead, or dying. He didn't want to face the bad news.

OOC; Writer's block, ugh...

Adolph looked over at the other Earth pack wolf, Celebriel. "I guess," he started, shaking a little, and tring to stand, but his legs buckled underneath him, "not..." he whispered to himself.
Joy looked at him, "C'mon Adolph. C'mon," she tried to make him stand again.

Rackshaw rushed over to the hunter and latched his fangs onto the gun. He shook his head all around until it was twisted out of the man's grasp. The man started to back away, but when Rackshaw broke the gun in two just by tightening his jaws, the hunter turned and sprinted away.

Ani and Rhode both heard the gunshot, so Rhode grabbed Ani's scruff and tossed him outside. "Go find where that came from!" she commanded.

"Thanks..." Adolph managed to cough out, and he stood up, on wobbly legs.
Joy stood close to him to help him if he fell. "Yes, thanks, Rackshaw."

Jason walked slowly through the woods still. His ears perked, he heard Adolph's voice. He ran a bit over to where they were, "You ok? Adolph?"

"A little late, Alpha!" Rackshaw scolded at Jason. He was the Alpha, Rackshaw thought. He should have been here first!

Jason hung his head, "I didn't want to watch him die, especially from a hunter's shot. Why would you want to see someone die?"
Adolph looked at Jason, then at Rackshaw, "Better late than never, anyways." he muttered, but loud enough to be heard. Then he looked back at Jason, "And anyways, if he had come, he could have been shot, and we wouldn't have an alpha!" he paused, "And it was my fault anyways. I shouldn't have gone near the bodies..."

Rackshaw narrowed his gaze at Jason. Had he seen people die... bah! "You. Have. No. Idea." Rackshaw growled. His gaze softened when he looked at Adolph. "It's not your fault. It's the hunters for killing the bodies in the first place."

"Well, I don't know about that, after all, I could have just stayed at the den..." Adolph coughed again, and fell down. He got back up, shaking. "I think..." he started "we should head home."
"Ok, Adolph, we need to treat the wound, anyways." Joy started after Adolph, who had started limping away.
Jason glared at Rackshaw, and then replied, "I have to go with my pack." And he went off with the other two wolves.

Rackshaw glared back at Jason.

By the time Ani and Rhode got there, they were all gone. "What'd we miss?" asked Ani, his scrawny legs supporting his scrawny body.

Ooc:// @ Hunter--> The hunters and dogs have been destroyed, and Rackshaw has recovered. Ruby and Luna are still in the cave where Austin and Raven are. Meanwhile, Adolph set out to inspect the bodies, but he's been shot by a hidden hunter. All the wolves hear the gunshot. He is dying slowly, and I introduced two new characters in the Earth Pack, Analek (Ani) and Rhode. Rackshaw stole the hunter's gun and broke it with his jaws, scaring the hunter away. Joy and Jason showed up to inspect Adolph, but Rackshaw is upset that Jason had come so late, and he doesn't think Jason has what it takes to be Alpha, since he didn't even know that his own pack member had been shot. After Jason and Joy left with Adolph, Ani and Rhode show up, wondering what had happened. That's where we are now.
