Daiku nodded in agreement, "Sounds alright with me, I accually like that idea." He then tok a moment for himself to admire her, not only for her beauty, but her ability of leadership and able to stay calm, even with males eyeng her like that. He then leaned in and whispered to her, "you know after that announcement were gonna need to watch eachothers back. and i request that were share the alpha den so we don't get suspicious o of the other, just to relax tensions, because i have no idea what either of us can, or will do. sound good?"

Freya listened to suggestion but her neck fur rose uncomfortably. She deliberately kept a steady expression however she couldn't help her brow raise in question. For a moment her eyes held that defensive calm glare that she gave the other wolves but after a moment she relaxed reasoning that Daiku probably just said it the wrong way and meant no harm or malice.

"Share a den? Did I hear that correctly?" Not really the kind of question she'd want to verify but still she needed to be sure of what she heard.

Hayumi looked at Xinal and saw him drooling over Freya like all of the other males did.She whimpered and shook her head."N-no..." She whispered, her tail quivering with worry and heartbreak.She simply walked off and gave one last hurt-filled glance at Xinal and she was gone.She walked into the trees and spread her wings out high before flying in the air.Tears streamed down her face as she spotted her place, the place her and Xinal had just been.She flew down and landed, she looked around at the once colorful place and relized it was now just dark and bleak."I shouldn't be acting this way!" She growled "I shouldn't even like him, I shouldn't have even came to this retched place!" She kicked a stone and it flew across the lake.

Daiku perked his ears when she made that comment, "oh, I don't mean it like that, I just like that den, besides, last thing we need is one of us getting suspicious of the other right?" He chuckled softly, stretching out his wings, he hadn't done that in awhile and felt like doing it out of the blue. He then laid down on top of the hill the den was in and let his wings spread out, absorbing sunlight, after all that was how he kept his energy levels in an active state. the wings glittered in the sunlight as they absorbed it, Daiku the laid his head on his paws and decided to take a short nap. He trusted in Freya to take care of things for now, until he woke up at least.

OCC/ don't worry yumi, war ravaged the land, it'll be pretty again soon enough XD

[She means the place is dark without him, and it isn't as beautiful with out him there.]

He glared at Freya, noticing the grace in her steps and the flick of her ears. He was entranced. Eventually Xinal entered into something like a brooding stage. His eyes glaring into empty space. He then begins rumbling to himself, "Hmm... If I can find a way to become Freya's mate, I can possibly become alpha and mold this pack so that it can become the ideal pack. Not just what was left of Granger's evil rule but wipe that completely from the social order!" That sounded like a good plan.

Suddenly something started to nudge his mind. Someone else had a similar level of grace such as that. Was it his previous mate? "This one was more recent." He glanced down to the ground. "Hmm..." He shook his head to clear it. "It doesn't matter." He lifted his head and the dark shadow lifted from his eyes making them bright once more.

Something was missing. He turned to look at Hayumi but the spot where she lay was vacant. "Must've gone out for a while." He reasoned to himself, although something about her sudden departure troubled him.

"I see, I see." Freya nodded. "Good point." As she turned to face the wolves once more, she met their gleaming eyes again. "I foresee a conflict within ourselves." She whispered to the air before summoning her Beta.

"All right, we will set up camp provisions...." She looked at her beta. The male wolf had the unusual gleam in his eye as well. "Focus!" She barked which snapped the second to his senses. "You'll need to transfer everyone from the old camp here as well as the fresh-kill pile if we still have any left. Create your own dens along one side following the pattern of our old camp for now. However some might want to remain in the old camp for a few more days so let them do so if they wish."

Without a further delay the second left to follow his orders.

Hayumi ran into the small den and laid there, her tail wrapped around her face."I knew I should'nt have gotten so close to him...Love only leads in pain!" SHe growled, her ears tilted backwards."Oh what mistake have I made to trouble the winds to give me sutch a horrid life!" She yelled up to the sky before getting up and walking out of the den where she caught a strange and unfamiler scent."Wh-Whos there?" She studdered, five scents were mixed in one as she opened her eyes in fear.To her shock three large coyotes had circled her, thier hackles up and teeth bared."Get away you mangy mutts!" She spat at them, but they just laughed and pounced on her, tearing her fur and drawing blood.She bit at anything tha moved, her teeth covered in blood that was not her's.Soon she set the group whimpered and wailing off, but her seriously injured.Hayumi shivered as pain shot threw her body, she limped her way back to the pack "They are my home now, I can not desert them." She told herself as she finnaly made it to the opening.She didn't want to go into the opening, to see him, to have him ask her whats wrong and she knew she wouldn't be able to answer.

"Hey Xinal!"

Xinal lifted his head out of his thoughts and looked at the person who called to him. He noticed the calm eyes of their leader as she approached him. His heartbeat started to accelerate. This was not usual for him. Something was amiss but he never was able to figure out why.

"I'm calling you and all the scouts." Freya ordered. Only then did he noticed that there were other wolves already around her: the rest of the Scouts. He quickly made his way to his position among their ranks.

"Alright listen up!" Freya barked, "We need to ensure the safety of the perimeter around this new camp. I want you to go out and secure a new bounadary." She glanced at Daiku before continuing, "If the Waterwolves have any additional party they want to contribute to this sortie, you will allow them and you two should work as one. That is all."

As the Alpha left the head of the scouts stood in front of the group and started to issue orders. "We will leave as soon as we confirm if any Waterwolves will be joining us. Darek, Seval, Xinal, Fasdem. You go on ahead and wait for us along the border of the council gathering area. Divide yourselves to watch all four sides. We will join you soon." The four wolves barked in agreement and moved on to their positions.

Xinal made his way to the eastern side where he normally would take his position. Just as he was about to settle down a scent hit him. "What was that?" He looked around. His eyes and ears scanning the area. In the distance he noticed a lone wolf. He narrowed his eyes in an attempt to recognize the wolf.

Was that... Hayumi?

And the scent he smelled... blood?

He bunched his muscles ready to leap to her aid.

Hayumi limped into the clearing, sitting in her place that seemed like home already.Her body looked mangeled and drenched in blood but she stood proud as ever, not showing her weakness to anyone.She looked at Xinal and looked away, his beautiful eyes felt like knives peircing her heart.

occ: Sorry I haven't been posting it just took me a while to catch up

bic: Leara walked slowly in the trees. Her fur rubed against them making them that bit dirty. She could smell another pack, or group of wolves, farther ahead. SHe came even closer and in the end she saw them. Her ears perked as she watched. She waited to see what would happen.

OOC// i'm currently trying to think of where Daiku could go next lol, so i'm gonna leave him lounging for awhile

"Hayumi?!" Xinal barked in surprise. "What happened to you?!" He quickly ran over to her. He was about to offer his help but then he noticed the air of a proud individual. He stood there for a few moments in surprise. What on earth? He quickly barked the code for the healer to approach them. Within a few moments the healer arrived and went on starting to inspect the wounds without any word.

"Seriously. What happened? It's like you had a whole pack on your tail." Xinal asked, sincere concern in his blue eyes.

"Ma'am." Freya turned around to the source of the voice. It was one of the scouts who was waiting along the border. "There's an individual hovering around the outer reaches of the clearing. Too far away to identify."

"Very well." Freya replied. "Might as well meet with this one to find out what is needed. Daiku." She then realized that Daiku was not where she last remembered he would be. "Daiku?" She barked quizzically. "Where on earth?!" She faced the scout once more. "Can you do me a favor? Please look for Daiku and tell him to meet me." The affirmative reached her ears and she started to make her way towards the border where the wolf was spotted. Along the way she visited her own wolves and made sure they were doing fine.

"I guess this is first official business for the unified pack." She then paused and waited for Daiku or her scout. Whoever comes back first.

Daiku was still napping peacefully on the hill, all stretched out and taking in a deep breath. he was enjoying life right now, it was fun for him and he sighed happily.

Hayumi didn't look at him and put her ears back "I did, coyotes.I fought them off on my own." She muttered, she wanted to look at him badly but knew that if she did it would feel like throwing her heart into a bush of thorns."I saw." She whispered weakly, hinting that she had seen how he had looked at Freya.Hayumi smiled and thanked the Healer before closing her eyes tightly to block out the world for a second, but she re opened them to see his face again.

Xinal flinched as her heard what she had just faced. "Coyotes?!" He glanced back at Freya, "How could there be any on our territory? This must be reported." Just before he stepped away to report the findings the Freya he heard another word.

"I saw..."

He froze, at first with bewilderment. "What..." Then he quickly sifted back through his memories. After reaching a particular one even his heart froze. He had no idea how to respond to that. Was it bad that he was in love with Freya? He turned to look at Hayumi. She had her eyes closed when she looked back at them when he looked back. After a moment that was when she opened them again.

He wasn't sure how to approach the question. Was there something wrong?

Freya looked around. "What the bloody earth is Daiku doing?" She sighed. "The heck with it I'll go meet with the stranger myself." With an angry flick of her tail she walked off to the border of the new camp and met the new wolf. "Greetings. What are you doing so close to our territory?"
