Haku decided to spy on Aniu,to see what she wanted with Balto. He lightly ran on the snow, following her scent. He came up on Aniu and Alaska talking. To make sure they didn't see him,he watched with only his head turned around the corner to see what they were doing. When he scooted forward a bit,he tripped on a rock, and fell,he had caught their attention."Oops!...Umm...Hey Alaska?!"He was embarrased by this foolish action.

Aniu noticed Haku but didn't turn around. She decided not to embarrass him by turning to see what was there. She felt Alaska's nervousness come across her and said, "No reason to be nervous Alaska. Your totally safe." She said, " C'mon. I can't wait any longer Balto." She said and grabbed him like a mother would to a pup and pulled him aside, " Balto, our pack needs your help. The wolverines are about to attack. Tomorrow." She said sternly to him.

Haku blushed when she nudged his chin."I hope I didn't ruin your conversation with Aniu?"He chuckled. With his triangular ears,he overheard Aniu and Balto's conversation."Wolverines?"He whispered curiously."Why are they attacking?"He signed.'I should just let them talk, and act like I didn't hear them.'He thought. His eyes met at Alaska's and he grinned at her beauty.

Aniu sensed that he was watching and hearing their conversation, " Hold on Balto." She said and walked up to Haku, " Excuse me, but, Haku, why were you listening to the conversation?" She asked.

"Ok. That's good enough for me. You can help us Haku." She smiled and walked up to Alaska and said, " Thanks." She then ran back to Balto and sat down.

Alaska blushed at what she said "Aniu...thanking me!Wow!" She thought as she walked back over to Haku's side."I will help you..I'm a skilled fighter and I've taken down many wolverines at a time. And other wolves." She said as she stood her, her ears perked.
