Wolfbane quickly nodded. "Alright..." He then sighed and took a look around before adding, "Go get help for Sunfire and Freefall. I'll go my father and round up the other patrols. We'll meet you there."

Snowspirit nodded and retreated backwards quickly. As soon as she was sure she was out of Wolfbane's sight she sat down and sighed heavily. Her mind was whirring and her chest ached, but she didn't know what was causing it. A single snowflake fell on the tip of her nose, making her jump. I need to find someone to help, or I could just meet Wolfbane there she thought, and started off back towards the mountain, which was quickly getting covered in snow.
Sunfire withdrew her nose quickly. Freefall had felt so cold, and now he was shivering under the snow. She snapped a twig off the dead bush poking out of the cracks just beside her and laid it down by Freefall's head, and then blew some fire on it to try and keep him warm. 'Can you get the snow off you?' she croaked, her throat felt dry for some reason and she wasn't sure if Freefall had heard her. She leaned her head forward and licked some snow up, accidently licking the top of Freefall's head.

FreeFall used his tail to brush some of the snow off, he was still shivering though, and to make matters a little worse (for FreeFall) he couldn`t breathe fire now for some reason. 'I`m probably too cold, I`ll try again later.' Thought FreeFall. He had felt the lick on the head, but dare not open his big mouth, in fear of saying the wrong things. "Cmon, we should probably get back to the others." He finally said. He heaved himself up and then looked back down at SunFire. "Cmon." He repeated.

Sunfire clambered up after Freefall, the mountain was now covered in snow, it was really beautiful. 'The snow is so pretty' she said without realising she had said it. She gave a snort to get the snow off the end of her nose, and then scooped up a pawful of snow. She walked up behind Freefall, acting normal, and then dumped the snow on his head.

FreeFall smiled mischieviously, he walked slower so that he`d be behind SunFire, he then rolled some snow into a ball and threw it at her. 'Bulls-eye!' He thought, he dusted the snow off of his head with his tail.

Sunfire gave a small playful growl and whipped around. 'You will pay for that' she said, grinning. She scooped snow into both her front paws and sat on her hind legs. She threw them both at Freefall one at a time, the first hitting him on the shoulder and the second on his back. 'Gotcha' she cried, and then ran past him back towards the mountain.
Snowspirit was nearly at the mountain when she heard Sunfire and Freefall. They're alright, that's good she thought happily. She neared the open area on the side of the mountain and saw the two having a snowball fight. When will Wolfbane get here? she couldn't help thinking, and then blushed when the thought came into her head.

Wolfbane tolf the plan to his father and they both went northwards. Wolfbane then went westwards while Thunderstorm went eastwards. They gained smaller patrols, but they thought it was enough. Thunderstorm led the group while Wolfbane flew on ahead, desperate to get there in time and to go over the plan with Snowspirit. I just hope it's not too late for either of us...

FreeFall smirked as he caught up to SunFire, and then jumped off of the cliff they had just climbed up, he FreeFalled for a bit (thats how he got his name XD) and then, just centremeters away from the ground, his falpped his powerful wings, lifting him up into the air, and sending dust flying everywhere, he did a barrel roll as he soared down and scooped up some snow and then soared over SunFire and dumped the snow on her head as he laughed, he hadn`t had this much fun since he was a whelpling (I learned that a whelpling is a baby dragon).

(Oh, I heard that a baby dragon is a chick. Dragon chick...dragon whelpling? I am going to stick with chick)

Snowspirit started to walk around in the forest for a bit, she was getting bored and a bit worrid waiting for Wolfbane, what if something had happened to him? Why am I worrying about him so much, a few months ago I wouldn't have cared about him, why do I now? she wondered, looking up to the sky. Snowflakes were still falling, and they melted on her warm scales before running down and dripping into her mouth. But as she stood looking into the sky she could taste the water becoming salty.
Whiplash stood stunned. He had just been burned badly by Sunfire, then that stranger who had attacked Freefall had attacked Sunfire, and then they had both fallen off the cliff but Sunfire survived. This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder he thought. Then the pain and shock of being burned hit him, he yelped and then rolled on his back in the snow.
Sunfire growled again, and waited until Freefall had landed before running over to him. She flashed him a cheeky smile and then reared up on her hind legs at the last moment and pushing him over onto his back. The now flurried up around her face, but she had Freefall pinned to the ground by his shoulders.

FreeFall was pinned, he couldn`t get up, SunFire was pretty strong. "Ok, ok, you win." He admitted defeat.

'Good' Sunfire said, but not in a mean or grumpy way. She wanted to let Freefall go, but she seemed frozen. Her heart was beating loudly and rapidly in her chest, and she could feel her legs shaking very slightly. 'I-I' she stuttered, not sure what to say, she was looking down on Freefall but her head had dropped without her realising.

Wolfbane finally caught sight of Snowspirit and swooped down to meet her, careful to be silent so that he wouldn't be caught by Whiplash. "Hey," he greeted, landing beside her while out of breath. "Sorry I kept you waiting. It turned into a bit of a goose chase when we tried to gather up the remaining patrols. So, how're the others holding up?..."

'N-nothing' Sunfire said, raising her head quickly and releasing her grip on Freefall. She started to walk over towards the cliff, her heart still pounding. What is up with me? I have never done this before she thought, and why do I feel sad?
Snowspirit looked at Wolfbane, taking a deep breath. 'Would you say Freefall is lucky?' she asked, 'he has a great pack, loads of friends, and he will probably get a mate, who wouldn't want him as a mate.' She took a few step towards him, her whole body was screaming different things at her and she didn't know what to do, so she just let her legs carry her. She stopped just in front of Wolfbane, the snow gently falling around her.

FreeFall got up and walked over to SunFire. "Something is wrong, I can tell, but I will not push matters further if it pains you." Said FreeFall, he sighed and then there was a moment of silence. "Cmon SunFire," he paused for a moment. "Let`s go find Wolfbane and SnowSpirit." He said softly as he flew off into the direction he saw Wolfbane went.
