Part 3?

Carmen and Echo sat on the couch. Carmen was half-way in the lap of her owner, who had a terrible caught and kept a box of tissues beside her to blow her nose. Carmen lied her head on her lap, and Echo sighed. They were all watching TV when around 7:30 Thier Owner cut off the TV and went to bed. "Oh Echo, I'm SOOOOO worried!" Carmen sniffled.

"She'll be fine, humans get sick like this all the tim, she'll be up and running in a few days." Echo said. Carmen, not to convensed, nodded, and walked out the door. "Lets go check on see Canal, we havn't talked to him in ages!" Carmen said.

They walked up to Cannal's house. They came throught the doggie-door and found that her wasn't there. Suddenly a burst of Fur came running at them. "MOM DAD! JUST IN TIME! I'M IN A SLED TEAM!" He barked. "That's great, are you gunna be in the iditorod?" Echo asked. " Well.....No....but still, I'm on a team!"L

"Thats still great!" Echo cheered, ptting Canal on his sholder. "Anything else?" Carmen asked. "Daddy!" Two voices said. Carmen and Echo turned to see to pups running twards them. "Hi kids." Canal smiled. "Who are they?" Echo asked. "My pups, duh." Canal teased. "Where's the mom?!" Carmen asked. "She left me, the stupid-" He stoped, realizing his pups were there.

"Cannal! What happened there?" Carmen asked worried. "Oh I uh, met someone who turned out to be a total bi- Ugh, noth'n." He growled. One pup stepped forward."Who awre wou?" It asked Carmen. "Well, I guess I'm your Grandmother!" Carmen barked. "So what are your names?" Echo asked.

Canal steped forward. "The little be is Dinomow, and the girl is BB." Canal pointed. "Does BB stand for somthing." Echo asked, slightly chuckling. "Beauty Baby, I didn't name her, Bella's owner did." Canal said. "Oh, so her name was Bella." Carmen replyd. "Yeah, her name ment beautifull, and she was. What a beautiful malamute." Canal sighed.

"Well looks aren't everything." Echo spoke up. Cannal turned to him. "yeah but....she was just...." Cannal growled. "what happened between you and her?" Echo asked.

"Nothing. She just saw another dog, and, left." Canal said. "Im sorry son." Echo sighed. "Yeah, but, you know what? When I asked her about the pups, she, she said you keep them, I have a real mate, one that will be in a better spot on a team, he's lead dog. And I told her that being a weel dog was very important, with out a weel dog, the lead dog and others can't pull the sled!" He barked angerly. "Son, its okay, if she's like that, then you don't need her." Carmen said, trying to cheer him up.

"Your Right! Who Needs that backstabbing little-" Cannal was cut of because BB stepped on his paw. "Tats not niwce daddy." She scolded. Echo laughted to himself. "She sure is a handful." Echo smiled. "No, she's the good one, I'm worried about-DINOMOW!" Cannal screamed as dinomow clawed at the table as he started to fall off. He cought him just in time. "What were you doing?!?!" Cannal asked."Cookies!" Dinamow said as he loooked at the steaming plate of chocolate-chips. "Aw, what am I gunna do with you?" Cannal teased. "Get me a cukie." Dinomow said. "I can't, those aren't for you, they'll get you sick, they have chocolate." Cannal said.

"Duh, dats why I wants it." Dinomow giggled. "Well, atleast Hook is helping with you pups." Canal smiled. "Hook? Who's Hook?" Carmen asked. "Oh, he's a dog my owner, Benton, owned a week or so before me." Canal explained. "Yeah! Uncle Hook is the best! He runs and jumps and plays and howls and-" Dinomow stoped. "He does lots with us!" BB yipped with joy. "Canal! Where have you been?" A male dog said. "UNcle Hook!" BB and Mo Mo howled and jumped at him.

He let them jump and pull at him. He laughed and rolled around with them. "Oh hey, who are you?" Hook asked, adressing Carmen and Echo. "Were Cannal's parents, but we were just leaving." Carmen smiled. Echo looked at her funny but followed her. They stpped outside. "What was that all about?" Echo asked. "It was getting a but to crowded in there, but I honestly want to check on our owner." Carmen said. WHen they got there, she was still sleeping. She has the tissues close by, and apeared to have a fever. She was pale and shivering, and alot of empty classes of water were laying around.

Sudden;y the door bell rang. "C-Come, in." Carmens owner struggled to say. A docter walked in. The dogs left, a while later he came out. "How can I pay for this?" She asked. "I dunno. Are one of your dogs pure breds? You could breed one and make some money." The docter said and left. "She wouldn't, she wouldn't!" Carmen whined. "Hmm." Their owner said before walking in. They followed and say she was on the phone. "You have a healthy, you male wolf, you say." A voice said, from the phone. "Yes." She said. "Whats his name?"

"Butch (Echo's name to her), he's about 3 or 4 years old, He'll make an eccelent mate, I figured wolf pups are more valiuble than huskeys, anyway." A few minutes later, she walked back into bed. Carmen burried her face in Echo's fur. "No...If only there was another way." She cried. Two days later, Echo found himself at the Zoo.

He was put into a fairly small room. He waited by himself for a while untile the door opend. "Thats him?" Asked a tall man. "Yep, he and Sabora will have the pups, I think the owner may keep one, I don't know." Another man said. "Go get Sabora, I'll stay here." Thetall one said.

He looked Echo Over. "Eck, looks like he was probably the runt. He's realy small, but he'll do. A tan and brown Wolf was lead into the room. The men shut the door. "Hello there, Echo." She said getting closer to him. "Look, Sabora, We realy can't get close like that, I have a mate, and I love her, I'm only here for the pups to rasie money for Our owner." Echo said sternly. "Ohhhh I get it, but she dons't have to know." Sabora smiled. "NO no no no Sabora, your not listening to reason, She is mate, and I'll never leave her." Echo said slightly snarling. "Fine, have pups with her, get money that way." Sabora said curling up in a corner at the oposite end of the room. "Well we did, and those are as worth as much as wolf pups around here." Echo said. Sabora stuck her nose up in the air. "No being Mates, No pups." She said.
