Cassie took his hand reluctantly, vowing to place it back on the wheel if the car moved so much as half an inch off course. She sighed as she tried to relax herself. "Lets just get home soon," she said under her breath.

Cassie had tightened her hold on Zan'e hand when it had started shaking. When they pulled up to Bree's, she amost laughed with relief. As the car came to a stop, she had turned to say something to Zane. Then, suddenly, he went limp and slammed against the door. "Zane!" she cried out in near hysterics.
Cody immediately jumped out of the car and opened Zane's door, catching his friend before he hit the pavement. Gently but quickly, Cody pulled Zane out, half dragged/half carried him to the grass of Bree's yard, and set him down. He checked Zane's plulse, which was speeding under Cody's thumb. And Cassie was there beside him, calling for Zane as she looked at his face with worry and set a hand on his cheek.
Bridget was aslo out of the car as soon as Zane fainted. She hurried to the house and grabbed a cup out the cupboard and filled it with cool water from the sink.
"Bridget!" Sunny shouted as her daughter came crashing through the door and into the kitchen. "What are you doing?" she said as she followed Bree into the kitchen only to be pushed aside as she rushed back outside. "Bree!"
"Just a minute, Mom!" Bridget yelled back over her shoulder, in no mood for her mother right at that moment. When she reached the other, she dumped the water onto Zane's face, hoping that at least he would become consious again.

"I have no idea," Sunny said, hurrying to the open door and standing on the porch watching Zane suddenly wake.
"You, you fainted," Cassie said blanty, putting a hand on his shoulder. "I don't know what happened."
"How are you felling now?" Cody asked business-like, taking control of the situtaion.

"I think I'm gonna go call 911," Sunny said, turning to go back into the house for a phone.
"Hold on, Mom," Bridget said, though if she had normal, human hearing she probably wouldn't have heard Sunny. "Zane's feeling fine," she said quickly. If he were to go to the hospital, the humans there would either make it worse or leave it as be. She shared her concerns with Cody mentally, who nodded.
Cody got up, holding out a hand to help Zane up. "I'll driver back," he whispered so only the wolves could hear.
Cassie nodded, trying to help Zane up without concerning Sunny. "Yeah, Zane, you're fine, right?" she said in a voice that tranlated to 'Say your fine or we may not get out of here alive or, worse, un-exposed.'

"Maybe you should still go to the doctor!" Sunny called to the retreating group.
Cody, with Cassie's help, got Zane into the back seat. "Don't worry!" he called to Sunny as he closed the door after Cassie got in beside Zane. "We will!" He turned to Aerion. "And we'll take good care of him, no worries," he said with a smile, though he wasn't sure how bad this was or could get. He jumped into the driver's seat.
"Call me, later," Bridget made Finn promise. "I need to know as soon as you find anything out." He assured her than got in the other side, next to Zane. Bridget backed up to the house and stood on the porch to see them off.

Cody pulled away from the house at a normal speed and waited until he turned the corner and Bree's family could no longer see them before really stepping on the gas pedal and hurridly driving towards the familar woods where Pack House was located.
Cassie wrapped an arms over Zane's shoulder and rubbed her other hand the length of his arm. She could feel goose-bumps all along his arm.
Bridget turned to go bakc inside, trying to act like nothing was going on.
Sunny watched the car until it disppeared around the corner. "I don't think thats the way to the hospital," she mused as she took a step toward the front door, debating whether to call 911 anyways.

"Don't you be worrying about me," Cassie said in a firm, sweet voice. "I;m going to be fine. Right now the only thing I;m concerned about is getting you to Pack House and making sure you're going to be fine, too."
Cody had to slow the car down as he drove up the driveway to Pack House. No one ever felt the need to pace it. Or even make it at all easier to get up for that matter.
Bridget left her parents out on the front porch as she went back inside, up stairs, and into her room. She wasn't sure what to do with herself once there. She felt useless, not being able to go with the rest of them. She occupied her time by staring at her phone that she had set on her bed and pacing across the room.
"Yes, I guess your right," Sunny said, finally going inside.

Cody pulled to a stop in the driveway and was out as soon as the engine cut off. He opened the back door, only giving his father a glance as he helped Cassie get Zane out of the car.
"Shhh," Cassie said soothing right before Cody opened the door. "We're here now." She didin't remove her arms from around him as she helped the two of them get Zane out and onto the lawn.
"Are they home already?" Dayla asked, getting up from one of many couches that filled the front. She saw Cody reaching into the back seat and helping Zane out with Cassie attatched to Zane. She quickly hurried out the door to stand by Dean. "What has happened?" she asked breathlessly.
