Zala looked at them and then to Emuku. Zala smiled and walked over to Jason who had just come over with Rick. " Hi Jason." Zala said.

Jason nodded with a small smile. " Hello sis." he said before turning to the other's as well. " So can you give us the whole story of what happened." Jason said as sat down and waved his tail around.

Kitty sat down beside Jason. "I would like to know, too," she said, frustrated at not knowing what had happened.

"Why they don't like hte High COuncil. Do they knwo somethign we don't?" Mandie asked. "Geeze. After this, I'm never speaking to my parents again."

Rick sat down by Jason and Kitty. "Me too. I know that Tristan did osmething but I have no clue what."

Rose looked at the ground and sighed. "Honestly, I don't know. My mother hardly tells me anything about the High Counsel and, like I said, I don't speak to any rebels. I wouldn't know."

"so why do you havea side?" promted Mandie. "You could be neutral. My dad's one of hte High Council memebers too but I never knew about rebels till now. However, that doesn't mena I'm automatically their enemies. I'm going to reserve judgement."

"Well if you don't side with your father, you're an idiot," Rose said. "The High Counsel has power and if you go against them, your father will always have access to you." Rose glared at Kohana. "I;m surprise any of you rebels are still going. Do you know how close the Counsel is to arresting all of you?"

"I guess they have power," agreed Mandie. But are they right? she thought. "But power isn't everything," she said fairly.

Zala nodded. " I've seen the High Counsel kill my friends more time's then I'd like. And the one who killed them was usaly my own father." Zala said remebering her old friends.

"It's because they went against the High Counsel," Rose repeated. "They can kill all of you any time they want. Why don't you get that?!"

"you know what rose shut it." kohana burst. she hated how every one was being nice to a high cousle member. she hated them with a passtion that she couldnt describe. werent they the ones that kicked her parents out and then killed them. tears started to spilled down her face. "foget it this is stupid im leave." she yelled running into the woods. 'why am i doing this why do my emotions get the better of me.' she thought as she colapsed and cried in her hands. 'how would rose know how it feels like growing up with parents. at least shes loved by them.' she wraped her arms arounf her knees and started crying in them.

Zala scowled. " Then why haven't they killed us all yet! Us rebels have won many battles and so have the High Counsel! And why hasn't my father killed me? Because us rebel's are strong! I don't want to fight for power, I want to fight to show my father I am strong and he holds no power over me! I want to fight to avenge the one's who where murdered! I want to avenge my friends!" Zala snarled. A tear ran down Zala's face and she turned around and spoke in a soft voice. " How can you side with them if you haven't truly seen what they have done? Rose you are so confident in them but you don't know what they fight for do you? It's true that even I do not know there true purpose, but why would they try so hard to kill us who don't agree with them? Why not let us live in peace? No, they want us dead. Maybe because they fight for something that we would stand in their way of. Rose have you even seen one of the truly horrible battle's where the true color's of the High Counsel show?" she asked. Zala then began to walk after Kohana but then broke into a run, not wanting to have to think of the thing's the High Counsel has done to her and the other Rebel's.

Emuku jumped easily out of the tree. " Like I said Rose, look deeper in the hearts of High Counsel. You might be surprised if you see something." he said before going after Zala.

kohana heard the steady running of feet. she tried to wipe the tears away. "i have somthing in my eye thats all im not crying if thats what your thinking." she said to the person behind her. she didnt want people to think she was weak cause of her uncontrol of crying. but with all her tries she couldnt get the tears to stop flowing.
