Maybe that pup wasn't as bad as he thought. He smiled at Luke as he took his place at the back of the group.

He looked at Mist. "You're really going to like the valley, its a really wonderful place, there is a big lake with four waterfalls, thats where all the mist comes from but under the mist you can't really tell theres so much mist, there is also a lot of deer, I like deer do you?"

"No one us knows about it, why should we make it ours?" asked Luke as they came to the base of the mountian. "We have to climb all the way to the top, I don't climb very well, can you carry me?" he asked, the mountian didn't look hard for an adult to climb but it was diffrent for a little pup.

She pick Luke up by the scruff and began the climb.

Luke nodded and let himself relax in his mother's grip. He knew it might be hard to convince them to jump off the top of the mountian but he'd done it before and knew it was safe. "Oh and there are some hot springs down there two, papa said they're the best around, minerals or something like that." he said, looking on up the mountian.

It's not the old Alex. He's... different. I guess there's a hint of the old Alex, but it'll never be the same as it was." Mist picked Luke up agian and continued to walk.

He broke himself free and ran to the top. He looked over the edge, it was a straight drop into the mist. "We have to jump to reach the valley, we'll land in a lake down there, it will stop us from getting hurt." he said, confident. "Trust me." he said. Jacob walked out of the forest and saw the group on the mountian. "Mist! I've got you know! No where to go now!" he yelled, taking several steps towards the mountian's base. "Looks like there isn't a choice now but think of it this way, he doesn't know about the valley but we do, he'll think you're dead." Luke whispered.

"Everyone go," she said in a hurried whisper. "I'll be right there." Dan went to the edge and whimpered. "You sure we aren't going to actually die?" he asked Luke. "I'm staying with you," Alex said to Mist, not wanting her to, maybe, deal with JAcob on her own.

He looked at Mist. "Me first." he said. He took several steps back and ran at the ledge and jumpped off, grabbing Mists tail to pull her as well, knowing she wanted to fight Jacob. The ledge was icy anyway and that was the point of Luke running start.
