Granger glanced at the pup as he ran off. Then shook his head. "Oh well. Not that he can do anything useful anyway,... yet."

Xinal approached the tree where Nyx was resting by. He stopped a few paces away. "How are you feeling?"

(um...I think you mean Nynx, lol, because I'm fine.)

Vixen yawned and stretched for a moment, then headed out of the den. She sat down and stared up at the sky. I have to get out of here...somehow.

Sighing, the wolfess lay down and put her head on her paws.

((Oh my- &facepalm* Sorry again. I'm plagued with typos this week >_<; Editing now.))

Granger ate his share before speaking once more with his battle advisor. "So how does the plans on the attack two dawns from now look?"

"It looks like a perfect time to attack," The response came, "Xinal reported the usual patrols and movements they routinely do and our current battle plan will get past them easily."

"Good, continue with the preparations." Granger nodded swinging his tail, dismissing the other wolf.

"Sir, before I go... I'm just wondering, are you connected to that pup?"

Granger only glared back at his battle advisor swinging his tail dismissively and much more aggresively. The other wolf bowed his head and stepped back. Granger looked around camp once more making sure everything was in check.

Daiku soon took to the air once he knew the coast was clear and he could quickly find Kyluka. Soon he was fortunate enough to find that very same cave he found recently and flew in, having a rough landing, he landed at her feet, as if she was waiting for him,

"Welcome back Daiku, I sensed you had more you wished to ask me." She spoke in her lovely and peaceful tone as always.

"Kyluka..." that moment he was cut off by her,

"Daiku, call me mother..." Daiku's eyes widened,

"Your my... my mother?!" Kyluka nodded and gave a grin at his suprised tone, at that moment he gave a cheerful yip and rushed to hug her, she was a big female and mad ehim look smaller than he was.

"And you can call the Granger, the Beast, your father." She gave a growl at the mention of his name,

"Father? Wait! is he's my father, why are you two fighting?" Kylukas look saddend and she looked down at him with a motherly look, "ask him."

Daiku nodded and was fed well by his mother, but he knew what he had to do. soon he said his goodbye and headed back for Granger, he had some explaining to do.

Kyluk sighed when Daiku left, "Why Granger, why did you choose her over me, when i loved you so much? and was yours for so long..." Kyluka thought of that wolf the Granger chose over her and literally left Kyluka to die.

Xinal, dipped his head before heading back to camp. "I hope you feel better soon." Xinal padded back to camp into the den. Laying down he stretched. He looked over at Granger who was over looking the whole camp. "What's with him?" He just muttered. "He looks a bit... off."

Vixen awoke to the sense of someone standing over her. Jerking her head up in recognition, she saw a massive wolf standing over her.

"Traitor," The wolf snarled, and began to claw at her while she shot fireballs at him, trying to get away.

But she couldn't get away, she just kept getting hit over and over...


"GAH!" Yelling, Vixen lunged up from her den and managed to bang her head on the ground. "OW!"

Whipping around with wide eyes, she realized it was just a dream. However that didn't stop her from making herself push back tears. It was just a dream...none of it happened...WHY AM I CRYING?!

She hung her head and lay down, hiding her face in her paws. Because you didn't want to do any of it. You didn't want to be a traitor, part of her said.

Vixen forced herself to stop trembling before someone would come checking her because of her yelling and fear scent. Just act asleep...

Xinal glanced at Vixen the moment he heard some movement. And by the sound of the scream whatever it was seemed terrifying. But then he saw the outline of her body sleeping soundly. Was I just imagining that? He shrugged, oh well...

Vixen opened an eye and sighed with relief when Xinal thought she was asleep. Turning away, she stared off into the distance in thought.

Daik ran to meet Granger again, he soon bumped rihgt inot his leg and he looked up, "Daddy!" He yipped, right in the middle of everyone, only noticing for a second everyone's eyes turned on them, some with confusion, others with suprise. "I found out who you really are! your my real father!" He was rubbing against his fathers legs at the time with a big smile, feeling very happy.

Granger glared down at the pup with equel bewilderment. His mind flashe back to years ago, when he was much younger and heard that his mate, then Kyluka had given birth to their pups. However shortly after several incidents he became infatuated with another wolf. He left Kyluka for dead at one point, but she survived. Regardin the fates of the pups, He heard they had all died from his spy. And here was this pup saying that he was his son

"You've got to be kidding me?!"

"What the heck is going on?" Just when I was going to get some shut eye. He stretched before he glanced at Daiku and Granger with all the other astonished wolves staring at them like some freak show.

Vixen had heard the whole thing, ears pricked and eyes wide. To make sure she heard right, she whipped around to Xinal. "You heard that, right?"

Xinal glanced back at Vixen a puzzled look smeared across his own, "I think I did." [dang WB >.<]

Daiku had a big smile then looked around at everyone who was staring, "uh oh." he looked at Granger who gave him that look, "um... this is awkward isn't it?" he then looked at the others and growled, "so what?! he has a son? that means he has a hier to his place and someone who will keep you filthy varmits under control!" at that moment he was snarling and baring fangs, notcing his fangs we're slightly larger than theres and loked quite frightening, even to the toughest of wolves.

Granger only gave him a surprised glare a little longer. Then something clicked in his mind. Maybe it would be easier to use Daiku's power in this circumstance. He nodded to Daiku, "So you are my son." He smiled. "I see you finally found out."

"Who's the mother?" One spoke up.
"Was it the one last time?" Another followed up.

Granger closed his eyes. Apparently they didn't know the mother. Some were even glancing at each other trying to guess. "The mother wishes her identity to be a secret."

"But he was a WindWolf pup!" Someone shouted. "You took a mate from the Wind wolves?"

Granger shook his head, "She was... a rogue..." Granger glared at Daiku who would see that he was giving him the 'do not say a word to anyone or I'll kill you' look. "I bet the wind wolves took the pup from her."

[[Tell me if this is still in the spirit of the story, jaiko. I couldn't think of anything else >< If not then I'll just edit it.]]

Daiku just watched and didn't say anything, but then told partly a piece of truth, "My mother i believe was part wind wolf and water wolf, thats how a luna is born, when all 4 types enter into the same bloodline." He smiled at Granger and jumped on his back," can't you see the resemblence?"
