Balto chuckled. "They don't understand why we're here." he said. He stood walked up to the humans and made a 'what do you think?' face at them.

Cachen rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say, well no matter what, we've got to do this." he said.

Fang chuckled. "Well I might have a bit of an ego but I'm no glory hound." he said.

Lena nodded. "Well I got my looks from momma." she said.

The assistent stratched his head before a thought occured to him. "Do you think they know we need a sled team to get the antitoxin?" he asked, recieving a nod from Balto.

Jenna nodded, rolling her eyes. "and they're supposed to be the smart ones..." she said.

Kai nodded. "I know, Cachen." he said, looking down at the floor.

Tai nodded. "we're all glad for that, Fang." she giggled.

Kodi nodded. "you you got your fur form me. Remember that." he grinned jokingly.

The Doctor laughed, leaning down and rubbing Balto's head. Hios hand looped about the harness. "Ha! Look...look at him! Balto! The town's hero come to save the day again!" he said, overjoyed.

Balto's tail wagged, like any dog he enjoyed being praised but maybe a little bit more because he'd been so neglated until he'd saved the town. He gave a nod to Jenna. They were all there to save the day.

Cachen chuckled. "We'll be fine Kai."

Fang nodded. "I agree, we're all working today." he said.

Lena nodded. "Proud of it!."

The assistent nodded. "Look's like he brought his family too." he said. He looked at the other dogs, he knew that Jenna was the only purebred in the bunch so he went over to her. "Hello there Jenna, mind if I check your throat?" he asked. "I just want to make sure you know."

Jenna gave a doggish smile, looking up, and extending her neck, telling the man it was okay.

Kai nodded, clawing at the ground. "I know."

Tai nodded. "and we're gonna be working quite hard for quite a long time." she said in a determined tone.

Kodi chuckled, snuggling Lena in a Fatherly love manner.

The doctor smiled. He ran his hand trough the dulling fur. "you never stop do you, boy?" he asked. "you're such a good dog." he chuckled, rubbing behind Balto's ears.

Balto smiled. He liked to be called a dog, even if he respected the wolf half, he knew he probably would get a compument like that. He licked the doctor's face.

Cachen rolled his eyes and walked over to Balto, he looked at the doctor, looking very much like a very young Balto.

Fang nodded. "Yeah, we're going to save the day, just like you're grandpa did, well you know, without my dad trying to kill him..." he said, feeling ashamed for his father's actions.

Lena was ready for this. "I finally get to do a sled run with you guys, I'm happy!"

The assistent run his fingers along Jenna's neck checking for any identcation of swelling. He pet her on the head with a smile. "Well you're heathly." he said. He looked at the doctor. "Well most of them are wolfdogs, so they're immuned. Jenna is heathy, I'm not sure why but she's not sick at all. Should we get a musher and send a telegraph to tell them to get the antitoxin ready?"

Jenna smiled as well, lookign around at the group; this whole town...depended on them.

Tai smiled, giving a slight giggle. "Come on, not like you did it to your Dad..." she said gently.

Kodi chuckled. "Momma'd be proud of you, Lena." he said

The doctor nodded, looking up at his assistant. "Yes, right away." he started to laugh, looking to and fro at Cachen and Balto. "Ohoho..Look at this! So strange isn't it?" he said.

Balto smiled and nuzzled Cachen. He wasn't quite sure how to tell them this was his grandson.

Cachen chuckled. He cocked his head and the doctor, looking rather cute.

Lena nodded. "Momma will be proud of us when we get the antitoxin through."

The assistent kneeled beside the doctor with a chuckled. "Yes very much, they're like twins! Must be related somehow." he said, petting the two wolfdogs. "I will go alert the mushers." he said and went inside.

Jenna gave a slight giggle, hoping the Doctor wouldn't mistake Cachen for another pup of her and Balto's.

Kai laughed, looking at how Cachen displayed his cuteness.

Kodi nodded, nuzzling his daughter. "She will. And we'll all be there when she wakes up."

The doctor nodded, rubbing Cachen's head affectionately. "You two are quite a pair aren't you?" he asked, as if expecting an answer. "I'll go inform the Governor.." he said, getting up off his knees with a slight groan, and making his way inside.

Jenna smiled. "do I have to sing the song again, Balto?" she asked jokingly, leaning against him. "you'll do great, I'm certain you will." she said with utmost confidence in her mate.

Tai nodded, her paws tensening in the snow. "He got what he deserves alright." she growled slightly, thinking about her previous feelings she had sensed.

Kai nodded, rubbing an eye. "Oh! Right. Those looks on the humans was priceless! they didn't know what the heck happened!" he laughed.

Kodi chuckled, scratching his harness with a smile. "I love your enthusiasm Lena."

Jenna chuckled, nuzzling Balto in return. "See? Have confidence in yourself." she smieldo nce more. "You're not alone this time, you have a family here that loves you, and is prepared to follow you."

Tai nodded, placing a paw on his for a quick moment. "You deserve it, Fang." she smiled.

Kai nodded. "Exactly! Their looks were great!"

Kodi smirked, tickling Lena softly. "Stubborn huh?" he asked, laughing.

Jenna nodded. "Rosy's a big girl. I'm sure she'll understand." she smiled softly, eyes slowly shutting.

Tai blushed, nuzzling Fang gently. "right, I'll have you." she whispered back, looking down at her paws.

Kai nodded, laughing hard. "It's like looking into a mirror! Ha-can you believe it?"

Kodi chuckled. "He should talk; I get it from him." he said, rubbing Lena's head.
