"I...I had trouble finding people who'd listin...they always ran because I was so big, to them I was a freak and a monster, eventually I just gave up on talking to anyone." he said, obviously begining to open up. He looked at Larka. "Will you listin to me?" he asked.

Emuku turned back to Mammoth after he replied to her. " Just one more question Mammoth....did you ever take to the streets? Did you stay with in the ring? Before you open up to anyone truly get to know them. If they run then they are just chickens, mutt not even worthy of being called a dog. Mabey just mabey you should have found another like you. He or she could have been blind, cripled, or anyother type of pysical or even mental if needed disablity. THey might have been more willing to lison. But remember its never to late to make a friend you just need to find the right dog." She told him. Her eyes and voice let no emotion throught but keept a calm and almost terrorfing nature.

Mammoth set down and thought about it. "No, I was born here, I've never been anywhere but too a mob vet to have my knees fixed." he said. "I've never met a disabled dog because if a dog here gets disable, they're normally put down." he said. "Heck if I wasn't making Mako so much cash he'd probably not bother to have my knees fixed and shoot me in the head." he said. "I guess I've just gotten used to pushing my wieght around to make dogs listin to me and since that only works by fear, they're not really any good company." he said. "But I do love Larka and if you'd be my friend, maybe I could change my ways."

Emuku shruged. " Ahh..the the crap its never to late to make a friend but you need more then just me and Larka. When Larka's better and if she is willing to make an effort i'll show you around and mabey you will make more then just two friends." she told him. THen she turned to Cabel and Slash. " You dont mind do you? I mean at least its worth a try and he needs some friends. You would to if you had to go through his pain." she said.

Instead of turning sympathetic, Caleb's glare was hard, cold, and unwelcoming the whole time. He curled his lip slighty and said in a low angry voice. "We all have our own sad sob stories to deal with. He should've taken his first chance to make a few friends instead of running them off, too late. He won't have this dog for a friend, ever."
Standing up, the shepherd turned away from the others and stalked off. Something was bothering him, but he wasn't going to tell anyone if it was the last thing he'd do.
The angry, more darker side of his nature was showing itself clearly now.

Caleb waved his tail in dismissal and kept walking on, into the crowds and disappearing. He ignored Mammoth completely, and left.
A smaller female dog, Rain, passed Caleb as he started leaving. Tipping her head, she sensed anger and other emotions coming from up ahead. Rain pressed onward and found Mammoth near Emuku and Slash.
Raising an eyebrow, she sat down a few yards away, but not out of earshot. Curious...Not long ago, she'd watched all the hostility Mammoth had, and thought of him as disgusting. But now he just looked...sorry, almost.

Emuku shuck her head. Cabel wasnt seeing with his heart only with his eyes. " What Cabel said is true most of us have sad sob stories. But he is also wrong. Our stories are differnt for most of us found a friend who helped eass the pain of that memorie." She turned to Mammoth. " I belive that you didnt run off dogs who cold have made a good friend. The dogs that ran off were scared for its natural to a dog to fear the unnatural. For you Mammoth are unnatulay big. But it is never to late to make a friend. First things first. We need to find dogs who have never heard of you so they arent as scard. And if they stick with you take them here and show them who you used to be and show them that you have changed. THen nature will take its course." she told them. Well Mammoth was large in size Emuku was large in brains and compashion. Her mind understould more than others and it never toke a day off. THat was the reason she had won all of her fights. Making her a fearful enemy and a wonderful compaion. But even now she missed the days were her time was spent fighting so her mind could work. THinking and fighting was a thing that made her happy....like the rain that falls from the sky.

Slash looked over at Emuku and nodded "yea sure...why not'' She looked back at Caleb, then to Mammoth, then got up and trotted after him, at this moment she didn't want to deal with a mutt that released on her. She looked back at him, nodded her head and then took off after Caleb. On her way she passed Rain, smiled, and kept pace.
She walked on for some time until she saw his broad shoulder amongt the browed and pushed her way to him. She trotted up to him and walked in siync with him. She kept quiet for a time then spoke up, her tone was calm and soft "Hey...are you okay?" She glanced up at him, her eyes searching.
Larka gasped softly as she listend to the conversation. She looked into his heavy eyes and gently repleyd "Of course i'll listen to you" She watched as his emotions dimmed over him as he barked at them his past. She felt sympathy for him. SHe growled softly as Caleb left, then gave Emuku and Slash a small look of gratefullness.

Mammoth nuzzled Larka lovingly. "Thank you, I love you." he said. He looked to the others. "But what about Mako? He won't just let me change my ways, you know how he gets. The guy is a psychpath, he'll shoot me in the head if I disobey him."

Roscoe looked down at her. His nose twisted in an akward way. "I've probably killed twice as you have....maybe even more than that." he sighed, nudging her to give her comfort. "Look, lets just get off this topic and find some food or something. We need to move quickly before nightfalls."
He notioned toward the alley. For some reason, Roscoe was oblivious to the fight that had taken place and that there were others out there that were hurting as much as he was. He felt alone, although Mahksim was right there beside him. He wasn't sure where to turn or what to do. His life ran on fighting alone. What was he to do now? Stop everything, settle down and be a house dog? No. Noone wanted him now. He was dangerous....a threat to humans and dogs alike. He was a monster that was meant to be destroyed....
