Akelah smiled twoards the female and wagged his tail lightly, but he kept a keen eye on Orion.
Okami raced to Orion and brushed her head on his shoulder."Thank goodness you're alright"

Orion gave Okami a friendly nudge with his broad head. he noticed the new male's eyes were trained on him,a dn he felt his ears flatten slightly as he glared back. He didn't trust them, and they didn't seem to be any different.

Meanwhile, Aroura had jumped, and she whirled around to stare at the newcomers. Had they overheard them? She inclined her head to each of them. "Welcome," she said, approaching them. "My name is Aroura. This is my friend Okami, she comes from far away,a s I do. You must have already met orion, he lives here."

From the other side of the cave, in a dark shadow, Orion gave Aroura a piercing glance, and the female quickly quieted.

Okami eyed the male. She walked up to Aurora then smiled twoards them."You have no need to distrust any of us" She glanced back at Orion then to Akelah and Rayne.

Rayne approached Okami and Aurora "Hi Aurora!I'm sorry for looking so distrusting but you just can never be too careful."She wagged her tail in greeting her nose moving slightly as she sensed the she-wolf.


Akelah stayed by the cave opening he could sense something about Aurora.He just couldn't trust any of them....there seemed to be something different about them.

Okami watched Akelah then frowned. She walked back to Rayne and wagged her tail.

"Thank you, Rayne!" Aroura piped up from where she lay on the side. She glanced at Orion's dark figure, partially hidden in the shadows. The male was looking at Akelah, but then he turned and glanced at them, before looking back out into the dark sky, and the dancing Borealis outside.

Rayne wagged her tail and looked at Aurora no longer able to contain her curiosity."Umm....so I really didn't mean to but I heard something about prophets?" Her eyes slanted a bit in suspicion "Do you know about the wolf spirits?"

Okami's eyes widened, She glanced back at Orion sending him a "what do we do" message thru her eyes.

From the shadows, Orion turned and glared at them, but his voice was controlled and calm. "We know no wolven spirits," he said, standing up.

Aroura looked back at Rayne. "Well, the prophet part that you heard was just a dream I had," she said. "I was lying in the back of the den, asleep, when it happened, it was just a dream."

Orion looked at them suspiciosly. "Why?" he asked Rayne. "Do you of the wolven spirits?"

Rayne looked at them with suspicious eyes,sensing they where lying."well,I heard stories as a little girl about spirits that appeared during the Borealis...Before my pack was killed,my grandmother,the eldest had talked to one of them.She told me that one day the spirits would come back in the form of mortal wolves...Well I'm sorry that I overheard you"Rayne stared at them and sighed and talked in a low whisper so that Akelah wouldn't hear "Look,I can sense what you are.If you where anything else you would've never sensed me by the lake.I got the power to sense these things from the moon and water spirit."she looked down,her eyes filled with determination she knew these wolves where connected to the spirits."The day I was born the night was especially stormy and my mother had difficulties giving birth.My grandmother prayed to the spirits and the moon and tide spirit answered her call,hence my name.I owe the spirits my life therefore I am eternally bound.If the moon and tide spirit where ever to die in her mortal form so would I.That's where you come in.I can feel your connection to them and I have to find this spirit and personally thank her for giving me life,I would do anything for her."She turned to Akelah,her eyes filling with sadness.She just couldn't tell him the truth.He was already sensitive to energy and if she were to tell him he would freak out.No she would never do that to him.She turned back to the wolves"So what's your story?"


(So you think all this is a good idea?Rayne and her connection to spirits?)

Orion only shook his head. "You should not openly speak of such connections to strangers."

Aroura looked around. "We don't know, honest," she said, "I have only dreamed... I don't understand any of it. I don't think they are really visions... but... what am I to do if they are true?"

Back in the shadows, Orion had stepped out. He grew level with Aroura. "This all started with you," he grunted, "You are the only reason I let you stay in here - you know I don't trust strangers, with a right, and I never will."

Aroura nodded, glancing at Rayne, and then to Okami for support. Orion growled, "And you need to keep this to yourself - we all need to keep this to ourselves, understand?" He barked at Rayne. He knew Akelah was watching him keenly. "This is buisness only those who trully are mortal spirit-connectors should know of. Do you want the Bounty Hunters - or whatever they are really called - after us? That is who dwells in these mountains, who live in those woods - they track us, they can sense us! That is why it is highly usafe for as many magical beings to be in this cave at once! They will all be attracted here. So I suggest," he looked tham all over with one sweeping gaze, "That we keep silent about this, and we keep watch for any others outside."

(Ooo Orion got her angry!^-^Yea,Rayne blows when she's angry.)

Her eyes twitched as she heard everything Orion was saying. She stared at Orion,her eyes filled with rage."You know as well as I what you are so stop kidding yourselves.You think I'm idiotic enough to just say this to any wandering stranger?I told you simply because I know you can speak with them,I can feel it.If you truly do not wish me here then I guess....Akelah stays here.He knows nothing of this and he can't survive through a storm like that."She looked at Akelah who had already fallen asleep.Then outside where she could see the Borealis."Okami,Orion,Aurora.I will return simply because I owe that much to Akelah.I know what you are therefore I will protect,but for now I have to try to communicate to them."She stepped out into the rain instantly feeling at peace.She looked up at the array of lights and headed towards the river,the oneplace she felt close to the spirit who had helped her.If they don't help me,I will find the spirits myself

"Rayne," Orion growled, following her, "All I said was that we must keep silent about all this. The Hunters are looking for us, and that has put you in danger." He turned back, and walked into the cave, shaking off water. As an afterthought, he glanced at the sleeping Akelah, hoping he hadn't gotten wet.

Okami watched Rayne leave. She whimpered but stayed next to Aurora. She glanced over at Akelah, she felt bad for him not knowing wat was going on.

Aroura heard Okami's whimper, She pressed against her friend's side, keeping weary eyes on Orion, as he entered back through the silvery sheet of rain pouring down over the cave entrance. "We'll be alright... there will be
a long, rough journey ahead, but I know we'll make it."

Meanwhile, Orion stepped past the sleeping Akelah. He gave the two she-wolves a glance before settling back against the wall, and glanced at the sheet of icy rain that obscured Rayne from vision.
