Two pups tussled with each other in the small clearing. One swatted at the other, pawing her in the face. The female yelped whimpering, before her brother trotted over and licked her ear. Warbler yawned quietly, watching her pups play.
"Be careful." She warned, and the pup hung his head.
"Sorry mama...." He muttered.

Boon nodded vigourusly, and with a mouthful of the deer replied, "Yessir! We have!" Warbler laughed quietly, licking Boon's head.
"Silly dont talk with your mouthful it's nasty. Gwen, hey, don't eat the food that Boon dropped!" She woofed, and Gwen frowned, looking at her mother.
"Fiiine.." She grumbled, begining to eat her own part of the dear. Warbler smiled.

Warbler had been caught off guard when a butterfly landed on her nose. Boon and Gwen froze, staring at the insect aswell. In one quick moment, the pups lunged for it and Warbler squealed with laughter. Boon chased the butterfly around for as long as he could, launching himself off of Gwen's head numerous times.
"Oh, heh, right Duke. Thanks." Warbler piped, begining to eat some of the deer. She glanced up at him. "You seen Prince lately? I haven't seen him since the pups were born.." She said, with a small frown.

Duke shook his head.
"I passed by his den but he wasn't there...there wasn't even a scent there." he explained. "..he may be gettin into stuff again."

Warbler frowned, and stood abruptly.
"I'm going to go find him. Watch Boon and Gwen." She said, trotting off. Boon watched her go and then trotted over to Duke, wagging his thin puppy tail.
"Where's momma going?" Gwen asked, padded over aswell.

Boon smiled, and put his paws on either side of Duke's face and playfully tugged on the wolf's head.
"Play with us?" He asked, sticking his nose between Duke's eyes. Gwen yawned and curled up by a small shrub.
