Buizel turned back around and said cheerfully "Yeah. You're right. She is stronger for it. Our team is stronger for it." He looked down afterwards though and asked "Why do you think I have these problems for, Empoleon? What is wrong with me?"

Empoleon shook his head. "No...but I know what it's like to guide your partner during a mission, knowing if you succeed you're going to fade out of existence right in front of them, leaving them alone," he said. "And I know what it's like to know that you're seconds from being ruthlessly hacked to pieces and killed and your only hope is to let them try and get out at just the right time," he said, lifting his wing to show a jagged scar on his side. "I might not have been through what you were, but I've been through enough heartbreak to know how scary or sad things can get."
OOC: I figured something like that would leave a scar.

"Don't know about revenge, but I do know how it feels to feel like you want to die," said Empoleon. "That's how Darkrai made me and my partner feel with his torture," he said, remembering. "He almost had ourselves convinced that dieing was the best thing for everyone...To be honest, the only suggestion I have is find something to live for," he said. "Like saving your friends from REAPR, that's something."
