now, did I suggest Kerry as the President? All I said was that I was afraid of Bush having control of nuclear arms and that he was stupid. I didn't say he should retire is big comfy Presidential chair.

I think he should use whatever influence he still has and stop this insane war right now, before anyone else; American, Canadian, Un or Iraqi get hurt.

I'm sorry, but you are action like such an idiot. Bush doesn't reign supreme, meaning he can't launch anything without the going through all of the other branches, and a great deal of them have to agree on it, before anything is launched. Not to mention the Senate. America is a Democracy, remember? :roll:

I'm just saying that he's the best we could get.

But about the war, that's what happenes in wars and untill we run out of people on the list it may not end for a little longer. But with support for the war dwindling it may not last long.

My only fear is that the troops will come home to unwelcome arms, you know people that think they are wrong for saving them. But I'm really scared that this will turn into another Nam, where the troops were underappreciated.

Yes, I am aware that America is a democracy. I wasn't born yesterday. And I was just stating my opinion; I wasn't sticking any pins into a voodoo doll of Bush or anything. I like Americans, and this rant wasn't a reflection of the American people. It was about the War on Terrorism. I just made a general comment about your president.

I'd really like to give you credit SB, most people will post a topic wining about how they dislike Bush and turing the whole thing into a flame war.

But I'd just like to know how the troops are treated in Canada.
