I do know that they are not allowed, but I don't find them too distracting.. are they a "Banned" thing to have? I can undertsand that it does bother some people, which is one of the reasons I don't have one.

Not to offend anyone, especially Steet, but that is the Stupidest rule on this forum! It's not destracting, it's just cool. It's only destracting to the weird people who decide to stare at them, and wonder to themselves.
No one I know here dislikes them, and it's seems more people like them than don't. It's really stupid. People use EVERYTHING else here, no a small group of people want to complain about animation. IT'S REALLY DUMB!

wow calm down XD..umm well I like them, it's just I can't stand it when my music skips, it's sooo annoying..XD it only happens on one of my computers tho..

Oh yes, also another reason : I don't want these forums to turn into the kind of "kiddy flashy animations where there's no text to read".
Have you ever seen any serious forums which allowed that? I don't.

Umm..I dunno but Usually the Animated stuff used to slow down the Internet's loading of this page..Not in my case.But for Low Internet conections it's posible.I Don't have anything against them,but sometimes they're annoying.
