Endless amounts because people actually watch them and that makes movie companies think......well if they like stupid horror movies then lets make some more, there are alot of horror movies that have alot of sequels and im not talking 2 or 3, im talking 15 to 20 and each is worse then the next.....

No, because Child's Play was made before Chucky was. And in Child's Play the doll was already possessed when the mother bought it for her son. In Chucky I think exorcism put a seriel killer in a doll's body. They are the same. If you look in the movie description it says so.... click
