Yeah, I've noticed that too. My dog knows whenever there's a burgaler. She's chased more out of my house than I can imagine.

My dad's dog, Barney did a similar thing again recently.. the other day we were on an evening walk and it was pretty dark. We got half way round the block when he froze and gave this horrible, deep bark followed by a snarl. He then glanced at me before running back towards home.

I literally ran back home behind him. I could've sworn someone had been following me.. -shudders-.

Another weird thing with Archie is that he can sense when there's going to be fireworks or a thunderstorm. If he stops before going through our gate when we get back from a walk, and looks at the sky then there's going to be fireworks or thunder. Weird, eh?

My dog used to never bark, but I've been teaching her to when somebody comes to the door. She barks about 5 seconds before though.

And now, every night, I put her outside before she goes in her room to sleep, and about the same time every night, she just starts barking really loud and it doesn't sound like her. The barking sounds like it's coming from a bigger, male dog but if I look out the window it's her, and there's nothing there.

She just barks at the fence non-stop until we tell her to come inside..it's weird.

Everytime my dad(Ughh) comes around my g-mas dog stands in front of me and growls and barks at him until he goes away from me. One time he pushed me to sit down to make dure I didn't go anywhere. I love that dog.

Both of my dogs sense things. They both start acting funny about half-an-hour before a thunderstorm hits. During a full moon, they will sometimes stay up all night howling at it. I believe that my Malamute can sense spirits as well. I am convinced that my house is haunted because one night, my Malamute was acting strange and just randomly walking around the house like he was following something. Later that night, I swore that I saw a ghost walk past my door. I think that he was following it around the house!

My dog can sense when there's going to be a thunderstorm as well. Or fireworks. If he looks warily at the sky when we get back from our evening walk, then there's going to be some disturbance at night..
