Well I'm REALLY frustrated with my parents when it comes to my gf.
They WILL not let me hug her with both arms, just one. And they don't even really WANT me to do THAT. They won't let me hold her hand. When they take me to meet her (which is once every like. . .1 1/2 to 2 months) they don't let me out of their sight. It's really uncomfortable. I'm not going to do anything bad, I really am not. I've seen UP CLOSE what sex outside of marriage can do to someone's life, and besides the fact that I know it's WRONG, I DON'T want that to happen to me. And I've told them that. They still tell me that I can't trust myself.
And I'm not saying I want to be alone with her for an extended period of time, because I don't. I'm not saying "oh I can handle it just fine." Because I know that you can't. I WANT a shaparone (sp?) with me when I would otherwise be COMPLETELY alone with her. But they won't even let us go by ourselves in SIX FLAGS. . .a place FULL of people everywhere! What do they think I'm gonna do?? They think a kiss, is totally out of line. I'm 16!!!! It's not gonna ruin my life if I make out with a girl!!
I have my own personal rule about being with her: that nothing comes off. As long as everything stays on, then I'll be in good shape. Nothing life-wrecking can happen if NO articles of clothing are removed. lol. They don't care about her, even though she's a great person, not because I like her but she's not a flirt or anything like that. My dad didn't even know her parents names and I've known her for like. . .a year? They don't give a rip about her, they NEVER start conversations about her, and they never ask me how she is. And they wonder why I don't want to be around them!!
I know the dangers they're trying to keep me from, and I want to keep myself from them too, but kissing a girl is not wrong. They have absolutely no faith in me at all, at least when it comes to her. They're so concerned about doing things so proper-like and stuff that they take all the fun out of seeing her.
Her parents (who like me, unlike my parents seem to do her) invited me to a certain restaurant, and my mom tried to change the arrangements to a freakin' picnic at a park! you don't change invitations like that, it's rude. If I tried that if a friend invited me to a party she'd get onto me. I'm just really tired of the total over-boardness of their stupid rules and stuff. I know this is a really long post but I saw this as an opportunity to vent about the subject. lol
