I won't call it depression, but only sadness, and it will go away by itself in a few days... Just think about something happy: half of the boys at your age have a worse life than yours (again, apart from a very few unlucky people). Everyone and anyone could be depressed. I don't believe in such "real depression." Depression is depression. Some people are so sensitive the little things could ruin their entire lives. Some people can remain optimistic and look to the brighter side of things. Even if they are around my age, they can still feel, and depression doesn't always come from death or illness. Some people just are depressed, all the time. They could have the happiest of lives and still be more sad than anybody else. I don't know if I have ever been seriously depressed. But there were times where I just wanted to be alone for a long time. I just learned it's easier to look at the brighter side of things. XD You said that you had no friends around where you are Mystic? That shouldn't matter. Atleast you DO have friends at all. And there are some who really are all on their own.....ya know?
Depression is not a belief. It is not something you can just will away or sulk away or blast a few angry tunes away. Depression is an illness.
Depression occurrs when your brain does not produce enough serotonin ( probably spelled that wrong). What seretonin does in your brain is carry signals. All of the thoughts you process in your head whether concious or subconcious are delivered by chemicals in your brain, seretonin being one of them. When you don't have enough of one or more of these chemicals, mental illness occurs because the brain is unable to process information.
Serotonin is the chemical in your brain responsible for telling your body to release endorphins, the hormone that reduces stress and makes you feel "happy"...of course if you're too happy that's a disorder too (bipolar disorder).
It depends on how much seretonin you are short how you can treat it. Sometimes there are little drug free things you can do to boost seretonin levels if you are not missing a lot. If you are missing more, Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors or SSRI's may be helpful. It is all a gamje of trial and error, because there is no exact way to measure chemicals in the brain. You just need a really good doctor who is willing to listen, and even then it is still their best guess.

I have been through many many depression states, I lost count when it hit the dubble digets, but there are difrent kinds odf depression, there for, more then one way to deal with it, if it's like over a loss of a love one or someone close to your heart, you can stand up and fight and hope of a chance of previal, or sit and let it kill you inside day by day, its all really a choice...
Then there is being alone, many people like to relive the pain by slit whrists and watching there blood trickle down, but that to me is showing your loasing, your giving into it, one of the ways to get out of it, is to get up and solve the problem, say you have no friends, well get up and try to make some, hang out with people, try to bond with them, if that doesn't work, then try doing something you love the most, Like what I do if there is no one to help, I chose to help myself, by ether listening to music, writing storys, poems or songs, playing video games, and to me that usally helps after awhile......
You never know, if you write something, a song or any peice of writing, try sending it in and you may discover something new, or be awarded with you words of more then just letters, but emotion, and from there you may discover what you want to do with your life.... try it and see because you never know......
But of all, don't hurt yourself or kill yourself, because you may think you won, when actully you lost......
