Sure I'm a dog lover. ^_^ I love all kinds of breeds but my fave is mutts. Mutts are the best because they can have a little of everything.

Though at the moment I really love mix terriers since I have one.

To be specific Lassie is a Rough Collie. And in realiy she is a he if anyone didnt know that.

Back on topic now, personally I love dogs or canines over any other pet there is out there, or infact any animal to be exact. But I dont like any of the small breeds like terriers, miniatures, or whatever else because to me they're anything but cute & cuddly to me. Now the large breeds I like more because they're more dependable, playful, and harder workers. For mix breeds I don't care much for them because sure they may be a little of everything, but I'd prefer one of something plain and simple. And to be more specific on what I like best here's my five faves list:

1. Rough Collie
2. Labrador Retriever
3. German Shepherd
4. Siberian Husky
5. Golden Retriever

I love dogs, who doesn't? My favorite type of dog are Golden Retrivers. I have 3 dogs that have strange personalities. But thats why I love them.

I mainly like all tyoes of collies and chocalate labradors. I love wolves a little more then dogs tho.

I am a dog lover through and through I perfer huskies GSD's labs malamutes akita's sheba inu, anything fluffy and big I do like poms and pappilons too though

I love Golden Retrievers... I had no idea there were all these other breeds! O_o

Yeah, I love dogs... but not all dog breeds.

I love herding dogs the most! And gun-dogs are my sectond favorite type.

Oh Yeah! I love beagles, labs and dachshunds,but I like pit bulls too. You can tell beagles are my all time fave because of my user name lol. I have a red dachshund named Digger at home.

I love Nova Scotias. That's my third favorite dog breed. I'm trying to get one.. but they're so rare and hard to get. =/

I dogs! And I love any other animal! I know heaps of dog breeds, although I;ve never owned a dog, because we rent our house . But my favourites have to be...

1) Mutt, Mongrel, Mixed-Breed... whatever you wanna call them, they are the awesomest breed because... they're REAL dogs.
2) Flat-Coated Retriever
3) Dachshund
4) Beagle
5) Dalmatian

A relative of mine owns 2 miniature smooth-haired Dachshunds, used to have three. I don't actually know any of those breeds PERSONALLY, (excluding mutt) but a combinaiton of how they look, and more importantly their personality... well, awesome.

Most toy breeds I don't like, but they are excellent breeds for people who want a dog without all the exercise. You still have to walk toy breeds, though... I like standard poodles, but I hate the way people show-shave them.

I once read a book The Secret Life of Dogs which taught me more about dogs than I ever could've imagined. I will never think of a dog as a 'human' or a 'pet' ever again. If you'd like to know about any of these things, you can private message me.

But... getting back on topic, I am NUTS about dogs. A proverb I heard once was A dog can give you more affection with one flick of it's tail than a man can with a lifetime of handshakes. And it's true. A dog is a better friend than any person could be. I've known some brilliant people, and I have some awesome friends, but none compare to a loving, devoted, faithful family dog.

i love pretty much all dogs (well , mixed breeds,large breeds & med. breeds, not many small breeds)

and I have a question for all of you: What's the big deal with Goldens and German Sheps????? I mean, sure they make good pets and all that shtuffz, but why the hell are they so popular? sometimes it really gets on my nerves...
