Trumpet is my passion. Even though I lack the technical skill and range I need and desire, it's still my passion. My favorite part of it is jazz improvision, the fullest way for one to express themselves in music.

I should also add that, besides history and living history, I'm really big into certain kinds of video games...

1. 80s upright "arcade" classics (I now own many of these as files on my lap top, which I play using the MAME emulator...which is awesome! Graphics and sound, all the same as from the arcade!)

2. Old Atari 2600 games from when I was a kid (from the 70s...I also have all these on my lap top through an emulator program)

3. Old Nintendo 64 games (ditto, like above)

4. Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny...which I own...as well as countless spin-offs, written by fans of the games, since the source code was released. The web site I referenced, in the video games folder (under the "Wolfenstein 3D/Spear of Destiny" topic) is where I got most of them.

8) Can't beat the classics!

EDIT: And classic (or even recent) cartoons...(got collections for all of these on DVD)

1. Looney Tunes
2. Hong Kong Phooey
3. The Tick
4. Star Blazers (the first official "anime" cartoon, from the 70s and 80s)
5. Ren & Stimpy
6. Beavis & Butthead
7. Aqua Teen Hunger Force
8. South Park
9. Justice League (and Justice League Unlimited)

And classic TV series:

1. M*A*S*H
2. Hogan's Heroes
3. Taxi
4. Star Trek
5. ER
6. ALF

etc.

Since you like history, you should play the Call of Duty series, they are great games, and very historical. As you progress through the game, you unlock real movie clips of WWII.

T'is a thought. But really, I don't play as much on the computer as my list of games might suggest. I don't even watch much TV! LOL! But I have these things for when I'm bored. LOL.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe I'll look into it!
