WRITE IT!
You'll find writing is a very enjoyable, cheap and rewarding hobby.
It does take a lot of time... but while you're writing, you're just sitting at your computer typing, not too much involved there.
And it doesn't have to be long to be really good either.
Lonewolf proved that with When You Come Back to Me Again.
(by the way, if you haven't read it, you should!)
Just write how you feel (watch being mad and writing though, it leads to very.... bad stories. (for me anyway)

Jeppers, you really should write! Its very enjoyable and you'll get some good reviews here.
Anyway, hallo again. I've been quite busy today, but I'll try to write some of A New Life tonight. That way, I'll get to Blood Lust sooner.
About the female... I think I'll name her Jade.
Any objections? Good.
And in recent news, I've just gotten a new idea for yet another fanfic! I'll get a teaser set up soon.

Yeah... when Kodi hears that... he could be wondering why she has a nickname like Bloody...

and he'll soon find out the hard way.

Either that, or it will be her nickname when she(or what is left of her, depending on my mood) is caught and banished.

Alright, rather than create yet another topic, I'm going to put up my new fanfic teaser right here. Therefore, this topic now includes two fanfics! I may need to change/delete the poll...

"There's got to be another way!" Jenna cried, "We could take him to the vet!"
"And risk infecting humans? Never." Treffen replied. Echo padded up beside her.
"I'm sorry Jenna," he said, "but...Balto isn't going to make it."
"What are you talking about?" Jenna replied, "He looks fine."
"The disease lives inside you, Jenna. The victim looks and acts fine for a while, but then he or she starts doing crazy things, foaming at the mouth... and then..." He looked at Balto, lying inside the small cave, staring blankly at the wall. "...then they die." Jenna couldn't believe what she was hearing. Echo turned to Mio and Gunther and nodded. The two began to push a large boulder over the entrance to the cave. Balto turned and watched as they sealed his only exit. Jenna resumed pleading with Echo.
"Please," she said, tears filling her eyes, "you can't do this..."
"I have to, Jenna. If we let him stay among us, when he looses control, he could strike out at anyone...even you. I won't loose another friend to this disease."
"But you're condemning one to death without giving him a chance!" Jenna screamed. Everyone looked at her. Jenna began to shake and collapsed to the cave floor. Balto extended his paw through the small gap that Milo and Gunther had left momentarily open.
"Jenna?" She turned and saw him reaching for her, so she moved close enough to see the tears that stained his cheeks. As he stroked the fur on the back of her head, he whipered, "I'm sorry Jenna, but they have to do this. I haven't got a snowball's chance in hell of making it now."
"Balto, please, the vet might be able to help."
"I'm not going to risk infecting anyone else, Jenna, I can't. Esspecially not you." He wiped a tear from her cheek and said, "When I go, I'll always be watching over you, Jenna." Balto pulled his paw back and Echo nodded to Milo, who pushed the huge rock the last few inches and sealed the cave shut.

Hmm... intresting new story. How did Balto get this illness and what is the title of this story?

The illness, in fact, is rabies. He was bitten by a rabid wolf while defending Jenna. The title... probably Balto: A Race Against Time.
(I can't have Balto die, can I?)

And how is he gonna get better? Magic healing?

There will be a doctor visiting, by chance, from Anchorage carrying a case of the vaccine.
But, by the time Jenna finds out, it may already be too late.
Of course, I could always have Aniu intervene. She is his mom, and wouldn't she do anything to save him? And wouldn't Jenna?

Yeah... that's true... putting their true feelings to the test...

Although, there is one small problem with that... according to another Balto author... there is no known cure for rabies!

Hmm.... This is according to another Balto author, huh?
Interesting.... I'll have to check on that.
